My boring story...

Hi all, sorry for the long absence.

I took a break for awhile as a couple of things happened in the last quarter of the year.

To summarize:

1. I got retrenched.

2. Alicia and Tom got engaged.

3. Mark and Jasmine are still playing the “will they or won’t they get married” game

4. EoS got fat. Like OMG he’s like 100kg or something now. Army must really be feeding him well.

5. Mike had a rather major health scare so we just took the time off to slow down and chill.

Life is short. Live it to the fullest.

Mike is recovering slowly. Please do a comprehensive health screening guys (and girls). My husband was super fit, good diet and all, yet he could still suffer a heart attack.

And nope, Brenda isn’t the reason why I got retrenched, the entire company shut down. In fact, I’m still colleagues with Brenda at a new company after she recommended me for a role there.

Tom and Alicia’s wedding should be end of this year, they haven’t really said anything but it’s really a sooner or later thing. He’s still finalizing his divorce, which is amicable, in case anyone is wondering. His soon to be ex-wife also found someone else who can fulfill her needs.

Mark and Jasmine… I really don’t know. Haven’t really met them since last December when we had a small gathering after Mike was discharged from the hospital.

And EoS, I sure hope he’s doing something about his weight, and his existing medical conditions. Mike’s sudden health issues seem to have given him and Tom something to think about regarding their lifestyle.

That being said, hopefully things go back to normal soon. Maybe there’ll be no more wild sex parties. After all, I’m getting old, and Mike is… Well, he definitely has to take it easy for now.
