I saw a group of them sitting together and I walked over…”No need to work ah?” I said. “Hi Good morning Mr. Tan!” said Ah Huat. Ah Huat is one of our senior store assistant who is about the same age as me. He and I are on good terms due to our same “hobby”.

Albert is someone who is flashy and likes to show off his wealth. He droves a Enzo Ferrari and likes to collect expensive watches. Sometimes I wander whether he is making a lot of money for the company. Most of his expenses are charged to the company bill like fine dining, first-class air travel. At work, he doesn’t seem to be capable and a lot of staff is unhappy with his attitude.

“It’s time for the meeting…”said Kevin as he entered my room. “Ok, let’s go…” I replied. It is better to be early than late as Albert is famous for his foul temper. We make our way to our meeting room, a place with contemporary décor which cost about $100,000 to renovate. It is another so called “project” handled by Albert to impress our clients… Actually no staff in the company likes to attend meeting hosted by Albert. This is because he will sure scold someone in the meeting just to show everyone he is the boss.
Everyone sit down at our respective places waiting for Albert to arrive. Today’s meeting is to discuss about the slide in sales for the past 3 months. Everyone is very tense as we don’t expect Albert to be a gentleman today… Albert came in about 5 mins together with his secretary, Deborah.

Mr. Lee remains solemn and his head starts to dip. I pitied him being insulted by a young chap who knew nothing about this industry.
