1st time posting over an encounter of mine. Names and location has been changed to protect the identity.
Part 1.
On a sunny afternoon, my colleague was out for lunch at a heartland mall. We went to heartland area as we were meeting our client nearby thereafter.
After lunch, my colleague B wanted to puff outside of the shopping mall. Me being a non smoker told him I waited in the shopping mall as the sun was freaky hot.
So I stayed in the shopping mall and browse around at the 1st level. While I was slowly walking, a nice sweet voice said.
Yv: Sir, can you spare a min of your time?
Me: (Turn my head sideway and saw a lady from a foreign bank, normally under this type of situation, I will always reply in rush or whatever excuse)
This time I said: Oh ok, sure.
This was because the lady was so much resemblance of TCS actress Yvonne Lim. 80% look like. That’s y I give her nick as Yv. Guess I being chee hong at that time.
Yv: We are having promotion for XXX products and with good returns etc…
Me: I was not interested in the product as scanning her from head to toe. She is quite petite around 1.6m and A+ to B- cup. Fair with long hair. Not too much heavy make up.
Yv: Sir, would you be interested to sit down to further elaboration?
Me: Oh sure, at this time my colleague B called.
B: Where you are huh?
Me: At the XXX bank counter there
B: Dun waste time, we have to go for the apt.
Me: Turn to Yv and told her I have to go coz gg for appt. Wanted to chat her more and passed her my name card.
Proceed to meet our client thereafter.
That was a Wednesday and everything was as usual. Still remember the Yvonne Lim look. Pretty and sweet.
On Friday at work, phone ring with a private no. Answer.
Me: Hello in a deep voice….
Yv: Hi, Yvonne here, still remember me? I am from the XXX bank and we chatted on wed.
Me: Yes, I remember.
Yv: When is a good time to meet up to chat on the plans? Dun worry, if you decide not to take, its ok. Just a short chat.
Me: Hmm, after office hours should be ok. After work today around 6.30pm?
Meet at the starbucks at north.
Yv: Oh ok, thanks for agreeing to meet up. See you at there later
Reached the starbucks and saw her already waiting for me. She is earlier than me. I have reached at 6.15pm.
Me: Hi, you are early. Paiseh let you wait.
Yv: Its ok, you are early too. I finished work early today.
After taking my ordering my drink and took my seat.
Yv: What plan you are more interested?
Me: Maybe those of the saving plans.
She start to search her lappy and I saw her shirt inbetween the buttons was a gap. Able to see the white cup bra at the side. I cannot be too obvious that I bio.
After that, she recommend the plans and I reverted that I will take one of it. Its a saving plan but each month must save to enjoy the higher returns.
Yv: Can I have your ic for inputs?
Me: Wah you want to chao ic ah. Like policewoman.
Yv: Giggle, I not lor. (Bascially thereafter we were in chinese liao)
Yv: Wah, you do not look like your age wor. You look much younger.
Me: Ha, how can it be. 30+++ liao where got young.
Yv: You married?
Me: What you think? (She look at me blur) Single and available.
Yv: okok.
After she enter all the details in her lappy.
Me: Oh, you know everything of me and I know nothing of you.
Yv: Oh what you want to know?
Before that I already notice that she do not have any ring on her fingers.
Me: You married?
Yv: What you think?
Me: So fast copy my statement liao ah.
Yv: Haha… dun tell you.
Me: Steady.
Yv: I am married
I got a shock of the answer, thinking how can it be? No rings?
Me: Sure or not? you so young get married, you having me on?
Yv: Yes, I still have a daughter.
Me: What serious or not? you good in jokes hor.
Yv: Serious, I telling you the truth.
I being act smart, said
Me: No ring on your finger leh.
Yv: who said married must wear ring?
Me: Give the LL face. Hmm, but you look pretty and young.
Yv: A little happy to heard that, said: I old already.
I in 30 also….
Me: Ok, but not older than me. Nvm, we are old but look young.

After chatting, I propose to have dinner at fast food as it is around 7plus to 8pm. We have a quick bite at Mac.
Yv: Thanks Mr Lee, you are so nice. Agreed on the spot. Will finalise the document and pass to you when ready.
Me: Ok it my pleasure. You can call me R. Btw where you stay?
Yv: I stayed in the east.
Me: I give you a lift coz the mrt to East is very far.
Yv: Hmm ok.
We proceed to take the car…

After that we proceed to take the car.
While walking,
Yv: R i need i a puff, you wan too?
Me: Sorry, i am non smoker.
Yv: Serious, then can excuse me a while?
Me: Sure, carry on…
While Yv was walking to outside of the mall, notice the beige skirt she was wearing is tight. Can see the panty line very clearing on her perky hip… Sexy sexy… Checking on my hp while waiting..
Yv: hey, i am done.
Me: you dun look like smoker wor.
Yv: Y?
Me: Coz earlier on you dont have cigg smell.
Yv: ha thats bcoz i rinse my mouth with mouth wash before meeting you.
Me: haha like that also can ah.
Take car, drive and chat.
Me: You really have a daughter ah?
Yv: yes, you young but like an uncle leh..
Me: Ok lor auntie… how old she is?
Yv: Wah, you like interviewing me ah.
Me: Interview you as my maid wor. Can?
Yv: you hor like to tease gals ah.
Me: No lor, i only like to tease aunties…
Yv: Give me a buay tahan face. She is less than 1 year old.
Me: So still baby ah must be very cute and loving.
Yv: Ya she is cute and playful.
Me: Your husband must be very xin fu… got a pretty wife and cute baby gal.

Me: So what your hubby does? Same line?
Yv: Nope, he is a regular in the army, sign on.
Me: oh ok.
Yv: Hey change topic, dont keep asking me, now i ask you ooh.
Me: Ok, i will try my best to answer, no promise.
Yv: You still single? zhun bo?
Me: Yes, lied to auntie no benefit.

The teasing continues and reached her place soon.
Yv: Drop me at the busstop there.

Yv: Thanks i will call you to sign the doc when everything is ready.
Me: ok, sure take your time.
After driving off, thinking aback how good if i known her earlier. She is pretty looking, so much like Yvonne Lim. Her smiles are captivating. Her eyes are always innocence looking and electric. Simply buay tahan. There was no sex thinking, just feeling happy to know her.

Me: Hello
Yv: Hi R, Yv here. Have prepared the documents, when is it a good time to meet up?
Me: This wed? coz kind of busy these 2 days. (Was preparing for tender submission closing on Tue)
Yv: ok, contact you again on wed.
Wed came. Phone beeps, private. Didnt pick up. It was a bad day. Tender results released, failed to secure. Boss face was black. I was the one in charge of preparing that tender. Bad things add in twice. After lunch, my buddy O called
O: Yo bro, you know who i met just now?
Me: Who?
O: Your ex.
Me: Really? where? with who?
O: she with colleagues at foodcentre but…
Me: but what? said la.
O: she look pregnant.
Me: ok… anyway its already been 2 years since she left. Thanks for telling, got to hang.
O: ok, chat on kopi session again.
I was like what the hell, today like receive all the bad news. terrible man.
It was like 4pm. Hp beeps.
Me: Hello
Yv: Hi R, yv here. good time to speak? call you in the morning but you didnt ans. think you must be busy.
Me: Oh sorry, didnt know its you.
Yv: Are we meeting later?
Me: Yes (actually have skip my mind). Thinking it was a bad day.
Me: I come over at 6pm at your branch?
Yv: oh ok, we go dinner together?
Me: ok sure see you at the car park.
Arrived at the car park, sms yv that arrived. Yv walked towards the car. She was in 1 piece black blouse. Those OL style.
Yv: Hi R.
Me: Hi Yv, where you want to go for dinner?
Yv: Somewhere near?
Me: It ok, anywhere as lng as sg will be fine.
Yv: Really?
Me: Ya.
Yv: We go East coast food centre?
Me: ok, since i know i will send her back in the east too.
During the journey, i was quite and didnt tok much. Just on the music and listen. It was a far and jammy journey.
Arrived at the food centre.
Yv: R you take a seat 1st. i go order.
Me: ok
Yv came back with variety of foods. Included mine.
Yv: we share share.
Me: ok, thank you.
We tuck in and found out that she like food centre food than those atas restaurant cos more economical. After finished, i ask for the papers and signed.
Yv: thank R.
Me: Its ok, thanks for treating me the dinner too.
As we was walking out.
Yv: R, do you want to walk walk?
Me: ok
Soon we found a bench and sit facing the sea.
Yv: R, are you ok? Seems like you kind of lost today.
Me: Ya, becoz of…. (explaining the bad day today)
Yv: Oh ok.. tats bad. hope your work will be fine and you are a good guy.
Me: Thanks for your kind words anyway.
Yv: Really, you know you are like my ex.
Me: It that a compliment?
Yv: of cos.

Me: Hmm, think ex not good wor otherwise wun be ex.
Yv: Nope my ex is good, its that i didnt treasure him and lost him.
Me: Listening and keeping quiet.
Yv: Actually, he is a nice and decent guy. However it was alittle bored. I went out with frds to club and met my present husband. From then, i club alot and in the end i chosen him.
Me: Sitting closer and showing interest.
Yv: Initially, i was very happy to club with him very often like almost 2-3 times a week. And my marriage was a shot gun. During my pregnancy, i stopped clubbing and he continued. He also go in JB with his platoon mates and didnt bring me along. Said due to safety of my pregnancy, most of my time i was with my inlaws only.
At this time, think Yv was really sad. From the tone and her expression.
Unknowingly, my thigh was in contact with her. I started to touch her back head like sayang a small kid. Her hair was soft and silky. She didnt resist.
Yv: Sorry to tell you all this.
Me: Our customer and client relationship has ended when i signed on the papers just now. Now i am your frd, here to listen.
Yv: Thanks. This is the 1st time i telling this to anyone. However, feel ease when telling you.
Me: Maybe i am your new frd and i dont know anyone of your frds and colleagues.
Yv: Maybe and maybe you like my ex hee.
Me: Oh please, i am present. Not your ex hor.
Yv: Giggle abit. Okok you are not ex. You are alive.
Yv looked at the watch and its already 9 plus, suggested to leave.
During the car trip back, we chatted with teasing ingredients. Before she alight, i called out her name. I also dunno what got into me. She turned around and i just soft pinch her small and beautiful nose.
Yv: You hor… Drive carefully on your way back.
Me: Ok, good night to you in advance.
My bad day turn out to be a good day, got a chio Yvonne Lim lookalike as frd.

Thursday morning, watsapp msg beep.
Yv: Hey R, good morning. Thanks for listening to my story last night. Have a nice day at work .
Me: (Surprise to received her msg) Morning, its alys my pleasure. Rem anything can alys confide in me.
Yv: Haha, ok. You so nice. Hmm, treat you lunch when you free.
Me: I free later, got free lunch bo?
Yv: Ok, but you have to meet me at my workplace here.
Me: No problem, we are working at the same western zone, see you around 1pm. I drive over.
Arrived at her workplace shopping mall, she was waiting for me in her long sleeve shirt and black tight skirt. OL looking, I like it.
Proceed to a better atmosphere restaurant, order and make some small chats.
Yv: You really so on ah, meet me all the way here.
Me: Got free lunch y not? And got somemore with a pretty lady.
Yv: taken honey just now ah?
Me: No la, maybe morning coffee too much sugar.
Yv: Actually thanks for coming over to accompany me lunch, me infact don’t like having lunch with my colleagues. They are my rival competitors, alys trying to snatch deals.
Me: Then next time, I come over and have lunch with you. My lunch time is flexible if boss not around.
Yv: you said de hor, don’t have me on oooh..
Me: you have my words.
While having the dessert,
Yv: hey, you so nice and chatty. Hmm, I call you “Kor” can?
Me: (What? Kor means bro). Huh, wat kor? Glue ah.
Yv: No la, Kor is elder bro. Can or not korrrr….
Me: (Can don’t want or not but she so neh…) okok, as long as you happy.
After lunch she proceed with puff, this time I accompany her.
Me: Hmm, you heavy smoker?
Yv: No la, I only smoke when stress.
Me: Seems like you are stress now ah.
Yv: No leh, see you and got myself a good Kor not stress.
She suddenly stopped smoke and threw away the cigg.
Yv: I don’t smoke ooh. If you come find me lunch, maybe I can quit.
Me: Good but then I may have to top up petrol very often.
Yv: (Give me a buay tahan face)
Before she left to work, I called her out and soft pinch her nose again. She fell for it again
While driving back, feelings were mixture. I have suddenly become her “bro” which I don’t want but now she is more comfortable with me. Is it she is trying to draw a line between us? Haiz, nvm. See how, nothing to lose from me. I am just an ordinary guy driving a normal sedan car and staying in HDB. Not those model looking hunks or rich man staying in condo.

From then, we will meet up for lunches 2 – 3 times per week. Yv was more comfortable and I was enjoying chio bu accompany. We will chat anything under the sun and at times will accompanied her to shop. Even giving her comments on her new clothes she tried. Everytime she looks so pretty when trying new clothes. Simply cant take my eyes off.
During that 2-3 months, I also dropped hints that I interested in her.
Still remember on this instance.
Yv: Kor what type of girls you like? I intro you?
Me: More on pleasant looks and able to get along
Yv: This one I also know how to answer leh. Which type? Shapely or pretty face?
Me: Haha, I go for pretty face of coz.
Yv: Elaborate more leh
Me: (Looking at her), Eyes that can speak and abit of phoenix shape, fair skin, slightly longer than shoulder length hair, small and cute nose, smiles that attract bees, love shape mouth.
Yv: Wah, so detail ah. How to find? Still pretty bo?
Me: Of coz very pretty and captivating
Yv: Cant imagine, anyone look similar for examples?
Me: Ya, wait ah. I show you.
Yv: okok show me quick.
Me: (Taking out my hp, on the camera and reverse it) Nah, see for yourself, very chio de.
Yv: (The camera was capturing herself) Yee, you hor.
Me: hee, isn’t it fit the description? I can see someone blushing le.
Yv: You so bad.
Me: Too bad you don’t have twins wor.
I know I cannot tell her directly and telling myself that I must be patience. She likes to tie her hair up, the photo in the link look 85-90%.

In additions to the meet up, I also showered her with TLC. She would tell me all the things including her menses period. Remembered one time, she said she was having a bad cramp and had to stand at roadshow. Heard that, I went down and with panadol menses cramp and a hot chocolate. She was surprised to see me and knew from her eyes that she appreciated it. Her eyes are those which can speak without uttering words. Very captivating.
Apart of that, whenever her cramps. I would always order hot drinks for her during our lunch meet ups.
3 months passed, I was thinking ways to find out her feelings. I was fully aware I must not be the one declaring 1st. Her birthday was near, was time to do something. No ideas, till my parents had shifted to bro place temporary to look after their newborn grandchild which gave me an idea.
One day before her bday.
Me: Yo, lunch together later?
Yv: Okok.
Me: Today can meet up earlier? We go somewhere further for lunch?
Yv: Orh then 12pm ok mah?
Me: Sure, I come over to the car park.
When she got in the car.
Yv: Kor, you not working today ah? how come on your bermudas?
Me: Ya, today I took leave.
Yv: Y? You got something on, never mentioned to me leh.
Me: Ya, got impt things to do later. Will tell you later.
Yv: Shen shen mi mi. Going where lunch?
Me: Dun worry, will not sell a sweetie away.
Reached my house car park.
Yv: Kor, here got anything to eat mah?
Me: Ya of coz, follow me.
She didn’t ask and followed me.
Me: This my house, today we lunch here. Take a seat.
Sensed she was not at ease when she in there. I served out the home cook western style lunch prepared by myself in the morning.
Me: Yv, come over and have lunch.
Yv: You cooked?
Me: Yup, that’s y today on leave.
Yv: Y so special?
Me: Tml your bday right?
Yv: How you know?
Me: That day you show me your ic, then I remembered lor.
Yv: Stealing confidential info ah.
After lunch, I bring out a cake and sang the usual bday song.
She was surprised and asked her to make a wish.
Me: Yv, this your bday present and a little gift for your baby gal too.
Yv: Thank you, you so nice. Xie Xie.
It was like 1.30pm, I need to send her back. While in the car, I just chat as usual as do not want to make her feel uneasy. Maybe also balless to ask or do anything extra.
When reached the car park, yv turned to me and gave me a kiss on my cheek.
Yv: Thank you so much of what you done. Drive carefully later.
Me: (Surprised) Orh okok.
I was damn happy and realised that she didn’t call me “Kor” after the lunch.
It is an improvement? is the line she drawn getting thinner?

We continue to meet up often for our lunches and sometimes sending her to meet clients after work. Noticed she will always hold onto my hand if we were crossing roads. And we strolled and chatted really close to each other.
Till then, she never disclose her feelings. I also don’t dare to admit to jeopardize everything.
One Saturday, my best of buddies O told me to join in dinner at his place, Reached his place, there was another lady in the house. Intro as O wife colleague. They actually wanted to “match make”. The lady was not bad looking with an hour glass shape. Bust at least B+ to C, 1.6++ in height, abit freshy but not plump. She is an Malaysian. She was friendly and nice to chat, after dinner and chats. O purposely provided the chance to send her back.
Actually the lady was nice and somemore single and available, but in my mind I only thought of Yv.
On the Monday met up with Yv over lunch.
Yv: How is your weekend? How did your red devils fared?
Me: Red devils became red worms, draw in their match. Lousy. Weekend was great, O introduce me to a lady. Think he and his wife trying to match make.
Yv: Huh? how come never heard you mentioned.
Me: I also dunno, till I went over his place.
Yv: How was she? nice? pretty?
I described whatever was the truth.
Yv: A good chance for you.
Me: (Whats on her mind? Then thought, maybe I can use this chance to test water)
Hmm, ya a really good gal to consider for every guys. Nice figure for guys to die for.
Yv: Congrats ooh.
After that Monday lunch, we didn’t meet up a few days for lunch as she gave excuses of not free and etc. Communication strictly on watsapp only.
Hell, wats on her mind? Why suddenly she got so many appts and so busy.

Yv and I didn’t meet up for a few days and all the whatsapp msg was initiated by me . Remember it was a Friday around 10am plus.
Yv: (Whatapps) You haven’t reached office?
Me: No leh, today not working. U reached?
Yv: Me reached le, how come you not working? Preparing to surprise someone ah?
Me: I wished I could, today immunity down. Feel feverish.
Yv: You ok mah? Seen doc?
Me: Seen doc just now. Will be ok after medicine.
Yv: Orh take care and rest more.
Me: Ok, you too. Take care.
I went back to sleep and around 12pm plus, door ring.
Thinking who that disturbed my rest. Upon opening the door, surprised to see Yv. She was holding with a plastic bag.
Me: (Surprise look) How come you here?
Yv: You sick, think that you got nothing to eat. Buy you porridge.
Me: Oh, thank you thank you. Come in come in.
Me: You had your lunch?
Yv: No leh.
Me: Only 1 bowl, we share share. Don’t have appetite to finish 1 bowl.
Yv: Hmm ok ok.
Yv helped to separate the porridge. And we tucked in.
I was touched that she travelled all the way to buy lunch for me. And maybe my fever had increase my guts. When Yv was about to leave and walked to the door. I called out for her.
Me: Yv
Yv: Yes
Me: Thank you for the lunch, appreciated it.
Yv: Don’t mention that. Rest well and get well ooh.
Me: Want to tell you something…
Yv: What?
Me: That lady is just a normal friend, I had no interest in her. Coz there was someone all along on my mind.
Yv: Who?
Me: (I hold on to her hand, she didn’t let go) You were the one on my mind
Yv: Serious?
Me: Yes, I feel for you. I been suppressing myself not to tell you anything coz was not sure how you feel for me. I feel that you feel for me too, am i right?
Yv: Yes, i feel for you but…
Me: No buts, i know your constraint. Really happy to hear that. i will not ask for anything, just want to know we have each other in ours hearts.
Yv: sorry, i cant promise you anything, you may get hurt.
Me: Don’t say that, i know and i willing to. Can i be promoted?
Yv: Promote?
Me: Terminate the “Kor” relationship and promote to “Dear”
Yv: Yes dear….
I was so happy and i just hugged her where she didn’t resist.
Me: Dear, were you angry with me for the last few days? Did i do anything wrong?
Yv: Dear, you know when you told me the “match making”, i feel not good for the past few days. This is when i know i feel for you unknowingly.
Me: I was the same, these few days didn’t see you that’s way maybe i got sick.
Yv: Rest more ooh, i have to go back to work le.
Me: Dear, i send you back.
Yv: No need, you rest more and get well. Must listen to your dear.
Me: Orh ok, reached office msg me.
Before she leave, i gave her a kiss to her lips.
This sickness was blessing in disguise. Fever had gave me the gut feel.
We are now from frd –> kor –> dear.
