Mr Henry: oh… Luna…. is everything ok at the station?

She stopped abruptly and waited. There was a few seconds of silence and I wished I could see the boss face.
Mr Henry: er… what interesting photos?
He spoke slowly.
Luna: upskirt photos of the women in the office…..
Another lengthy silence.
Mr Henry: I can’t believe that he would do that….
Luna: no….. I also found a saved WhatsApp screenshot. The message says, “boss, I’ve helped you migrate all these videos to the new server. I’ve stored them in the secret folder.” and you replied “good job”….
Mr Henry: that stupid asshole…. what do you want?
Luna: if I’m the IT manager, I can help you to continue hide or delete those photos…. no one will know….
Mr Henry: are you threatening me?
Luna: I wouldn’t dare…. I’m just your employee…
There was another bout of silence. I could imagine him studying her.
Eventually he spoke again.
Mr Henry: Your photos are in there as well…. why didn’t you think of reporting me?
Luna: well… it’s just like I wearing bikini to the beach… so no big deal for me…. but I’m not sure of the other girls….
Another silence.
Suddenly there was sound of a button being pressed.
Mr Henry: Mary, change the job posting… look for a junior IT person…. and make the announcement that Luna will be promoted to be the IT manager….
Mary: boss… are you….
Mr Henry: yes… that’s my final decision….
Mary: er…. ok….
The sound of the buttoned was heard again.
Mr Henry: now that you’re promoted, can you continue to keep the folder hidden?
Luna: yes boss…. of course…. just let me know what you need and I’ll do it…..
Mr Henry: good….
Luna: if there’s nothing else, I’ll make go back to my desk now….
Mr Henry: wait… one more thing….
Luna: yes boss?

Luna: ok… thanks boss…..
She exited the room and closed the door. As she turned back to face the office, her eyes met mine. We knew that we have something else to discuss tonight.
