Bro, during CNY, all air tickets are very expensive. You will not be able to get any cheap air tickets during this period to HCM from Spore.

Anyway, budget airlines ticket prices fluctuate quite widely so better for you to check with the airlines on the ticket prices when you reach BKK.
FYI, in terms of popularity, One Two Go is most popular followed by Nok Air and Thai Air Asia in Thailand. Nok Air usually will offer the lowest prices if they have discount tickets on offer.
alright i will heed your advice, go there then check. anyway, chances of my taking the girl elsewhere this time round is slim lah. i’m planning to stay about 7 days max. i think should be enough to satisfy me for quite a while. if the trip goes well, i may go again in another 2-3 months time, see when is cheapest to go again.i think should be early may considered quite off peak.
this thread offered a lot of valuable advice man, i wish i can up all the people who helped esp you, teebs_darklord. seriously,how the hell did you accumulate your reps man. everytime i post an objective FR, surely will have someone not happy with whatever reason and zap me. not easy to accumulate scores man.

If you are planning on 7 days trip, how many of your gals are you going to visit this time???? Surely you aren’t just going for 1 gal for the whole 7 days???

this is what i think (with regards to how many girls i’m visiting): if i end up feeling very comfortable with my top choice girl, i will stay with her until the end. if not, i’ll find an excuse for her to leave and move on to my second choice.
do you think it’s a good idea for me to buy one way ticket first, and then when i’m there, then decide when i want to come back? i’m afraid that such an arrangement may not only be more expensive due to last minute air ticket/hotel, but it may open a pandora’s box. i’m referring to the fact that if i leave the return date open ended, i may end up staying much much longer than i expected. although if i have a fixed return date, i can still screw it and buy another return ticket, but i’m not the kind to waste such money if i can help it,even if i can afford it.
by your tone, you’re implying it’s too short. why? how long do you recommend then? on my list, i have 4 LOS contacts, but i’m only really interested in 2 of them. the other 2 is just a backup plan.

Which airline are you going by? Understand from your previous posts should be cathay??? If it is Cathay and you are buying a single full fare ticket, you can change the return date without any charges if there is a vacancy available in economy class. Same applies for SQ or Thai Airways.
For me, I usually do not stay more than 5 days in BKK. I don’t see the point nor the necessity to stay there longer than 5 days. I also really don’t see the point for you to buy a single trip ticket or buy another return trip ticket if you intend to stay there longer. 7 days should be more than sufficient for you.
What I would say is that if you were to stick with 1 gal for 7 days, you will probably get bored stiff after 3-4 days of looking at her 24 hours a day. In the past, I never spent more than 2 days with any gal. My suggestion would be to split the 7 days there between the 2 gals you like more and see how it goes from there.
right now i’m divided lah. my plan is either as i mentioned above, or maybe i’ll spend the first 2 days with my secondary choice, and last 5 days with my top choice. i like to save the best for last.
my secondary choice offered to let me stay in her house, but i dont know if i should because i’m not that close to her. while she was in singapore, i only patronised her once,whereas i visited my top choice at least 5-6 times while she was here and we have established some chemistry. at least i thought so.
oh i’ve changed my mind about the airline. i’m making a detour to phuket first before going bkk, so cathay does not offer that cheaply. i’m using air asia instead.

So now you are going from Sin to Phuket to BKK by Air Asia???? So you are taking the Air Asia flight from Malaysia?
