That night we stayed up as long as possible .. we petted, fuck and hug as long as possible. As we know my days in ShenZhen is ending… there are no time to waste… I remembered the remaining days of this trip was one of the most memorable holiday I ever had.

Til today… I am still contacting her.. but no longer with that kind of fire burning.. just friends.. close friends.. she found a boyfriend.. and lately when I was in Beijing.. I got to see him for the first time. Quite handsome and looks impressive.. I am nowhere near that guy’s calibre interms of outer appearance. .. Can say actually 敏儿and 欣情are gals that I love .. but no I wouldnt want stead them .. as I value them too much.. hoping we will always be friends.

After I left Shenzhen, I return to Singapore.. with a heavy heart .. poundering over XinQing. I missed her.. and I couldnt understand my own decision of not continuing with her.. maybe its bacause of Zhen Zhen … theres a shadow..
I remembered I return to work the very next day… same things as usual.. I reach office at about 0930hours. settles down at the very corner of the office.. with a great deal of privacy.. too bad i do not have the luxury to enjoy it .. because I have to deal alot at Tour Counters doing supervision and handling complaints and stuff.
My job is like jack of all trades.. fuck . I am not only responsible of daily operation.. but also to help plan China, Korea and Japan Itineraries.. and that day… my beloved boss just added another new task for me… as the tour manager is on maternity leave.. I have to share her work.. the part my boss threw to me was.. training new staffs.. For your info.. Travel industry is a very volatile industry.. the turn over rate is super high.. many come and many leaves… alot of office politics crap.. So its a pratice in my company to hire more than we need .. bacause year 2005 we experienced a mass resignation.. which caused some fucking hiccups.
The policy of hiring more than we need is proposed by me. The pro side is to send a msg to everyone.. we do not over work staffs as the manpower is always sufficient. No. 2 if you think you want to resign because u have a better prospect .. please fucking go ahead. haha those were the two reasons that my boss was convinced and till now he is still pleased with my solution to the high turn over rate. And surprisingly.. after that.. people stays.. longer now..
The reason why I stayed in this company is not because I am holding a very high position or pay.. its because the trust my boss gave me. And because when I burnt my fingers playing contra.. he used his own money to settle for me …before I went bankrupt. till today I am still repaying him bit by bit. He never force me to sign any bond or IOU.. thats why I dont give a damn what others say about this company the management or prospect… I would probably stay until my boss step down.
Anyway so much of my work… I am kinda fed up that he throw more burden to me.. I am a hot tempered person.. always say what i felt.. never hide … and i remembered once.. my subordinate Jessica.. was scolded by me.. infront of the counter area where the public could see. And eventually went to the pantry and cry.. so no.. I dont think I want to be responsible for training new guys.. fuck man…

My woes regarding XinQing was soon forgotten.. as once I am back to work, I am 100% committed.. no time to lick my wounds… work work work.
After lunch, I went over to HR dept. to get the new guys portfolio. Total new staffs 5 . 3 guys and 2 girls. 3 Singaporean 1 Malaysian and 1 PRC.
PRC is the only attachment from school this time. The rest will be permanent.
Everyone will start work on the 1st of August. Which is tomorrow.. I have to spend hours to go through who should in which department.. so that they can max their potential.. and when i am finally done with that .. and the work i left behind one week ago. it was like 9 pm at night.. and when i look up i am the only one left in the fucking office.. damn tired.
Since I was the only one left, I light a cirgarette while clearing my table before I leaves the office.. Suddenly someone tabs my shoulder giving me the instant shock .. I turned around and Mindy was laughing.. ah she is the HR Manager.
Mindy: hor hor must be doing some 亏心事！
Me: wah lao.. so dark .. and so late le.. if i did the same to u u will probably faint le.. anyway.. so late le.. why are u still here?
Mindy: scheduling more interviews for tomorrow.
Me: Dont la! I will die ley.. I am the trainer for now u know..
Mindy: haha dont worrie .. its for inbound side.. mostly drivers. so dont worry.. none of your business..

We went to a nice fusion restaurant, thai themed. Sat down and relax and ate our dinner … Mindy is a colleague I very gum with. She was the few whom is from my batch.. both of us worked from nothing to manager…she is grateful towards me.. because during the 2005 mass resignation period.. I stopped her and talked her out.. that time I remembered she was only a HR admin clerk.. if u guys are wondering if I ever screwed her.. the answer is yes.. she was my ex gf. in the company only Mitch knows… the reason we broke up was because we started at a wrong time. But we are still friends ..

I reached home at around 10 pm that night. After some catching up with Mindy and she updated me with the lastest gossips and rumours around.
She also warned me not to go head on with Ah Ben and Winnie … as when I wasnt around they were trying their best to put me down infront of boss with all the minor faults they can produce.. apparently boss couldnt care less
Ben is one of the product managers working on mostly Islands and Resorts around the world. Winnie is a senior manager in Accountings. Both of them are husband and wife and seriously if not because of Winnie’s loyalty to the company.. boss would have ask Ben to leave long time ago. Ben is a manager who can talk but no action.. a few years down the road.. when u try to recall if he done anything impressive.. the answer is no. Or if you try to recall the promises he made to the management or staffs.. he fulfilled none.
I didnt like him as he is always haressing my subordinates.. sexually. Pulling ranks on them when I am not around. There was once I punched him in the face during a meeting hosted by my boss’s boss. It was a confrontation by him saying my gals were the rumours spreaders and the root to all office politics in the company and always up to no good. I was so pissed off when he literally insulted them to have slept with me .. if not I would not have jumped into their defence everytime they did something wrong.
I know he bears a grudge for me owning his pathetic face a year ago..cant really blame him.. I punched him in the conference room with all the board members around.. and still I got away with no punishment . My chairman even tells him to leave if he feels uncomfortable working with me. hahaha
Winnie at the same time felt her face lost compared to me… anyhow she is also working for the company and contributes alot.. she is more senior than me.. but boss is always siding me.
Well so much so, I dont think they poise any threat to my relationship with my bosses.. as they know how much difference I make to the company. Oh and rite .. Mr Ong, Sim and Lau… my passive shield from the outer source helped too. The only concern I had was how to train them. I always tell myself to be easy with newbies .. but then saying is always the easier part.
1st Aug arrived shortly after the nite… I reached office at 9 … 30 mins earlier.. they are suppose to report to me at 10.. but I want to see who is more concerned about their jobs .. by reaching early.. I was clearing my paperwork while waiting for them to come … at around 0930.. the first newbie arrived…
Newbie: Hi.. My name is Tina. I am new. I am looking for Mr Goh .

I know this guy is a manager in the future if he keeps in feet to the ground. Without much thinking , I allocated him to the product planning dept working under Merlyn, the best product planner in our company , i felt. After that the other 3 had arrived. The two other guys Alan and Jason were experienced too. So I put them to work with my assistant manger, Grace. As I felt they are suitable to become tourleaders and tour supervisors with their experience..
Lastly.. the other gal.. she is from China.. on student pass. Will be working as an attachment … Her name Xu Rong . 19 years old. Before I can decide who she should follow.. I tested her english..
