Jake passed me a stack of papers. Glancing through, theses are accounts of a construction paper.
Jake: These are records of sale between Nick and this company. He’s been selling them sands.
Ace: Bro, I don’t see anything wrong with that?
Jake pass me another few stacks of documents.
Jake: Nick is working with someone in his own company. His company record shows the amount of sand that was bought in. The figures in the warehouse does not tally with what was used. The mixture of sand to cement ratio at the various construction sites supervised by Nick has been tempered with. I’ve here a few statements from some of the workers saying that Nick ordered them to adjust the ratio of sand to cement. The foreign workers know that this is wrong and they are scared….
Ace: Go on….
Jake: The missing figures tally with what was sold by him to this company.
Ace: hmmm….so he is skinning from his own company, and someone is working with him?
Jake: Nick can’t pull this type of stunts without working with someone in the Warehouse and the Account department. Otherwise, he would have been caught a long time ago.
From what Jake has provided me for, that’s a angle I can work on to deal a blow to Nick. Moreover, tempering with the sand to cement ratio is a serious thing….

Jake: I know that look of yours….and I pity this Nick guy got whatever he had done to you.
Of course I had something in mind and I can’t possibly tell Jake that I’m doing all this for L.
Jake: There’s something that I’m still checking. It seems that this guy has some nasty sides. It’s still unconfirmed but there were rumours that he resorts to underhand methods to blackmail women into sex.
I almost choke on that remark and my heart literally stop beating for a few seconds.
Jake gave me an amused look. “You like kinky stuff? Why are you suddenly so excited?”
Fuck….excited my foot……I’m just worried that given his capabilities, I’m not sure what else he can dig up if he continues…..and i especially do not wish for L’s case to surface up.
My mind was still trying to formulate the plan.
At the same time, I told Jake to do what he can and see if there’s any additional info he can dig out. But in my mind, I’ve already decided that if he managed to dig out anything with regards to L, I’ll just keep those info locked away.
Ace: Buddy, think you can help me get a prepaid phone card? I need it to be untraceable.
Jake looked at me, giving me that evil grin…..”sure. I can pass one to you tomorrow.”
We continue to discuss on some more details….and I told Jake that I’ll need the contact number of the 3 women and also the frequency of their meetup with Nick.
In my mind, those 3 women are my chances to get back at Nick, although I’m really hesitant that whatever I planned to do will ruin someone else’s marriage……not a pleasant thought at all.
But then, one needs to answer for his/her own action…..I might be doing the husband a favour by exposing what his Wife had been doing behind his back and also help him save half his fortune….yes, the woman charter act in Singapore can be a killer to all men, except now the oblivious person at fault is the lady😈😈😈
The next day, I was hard at work in my office when my PA inform me that Jake is here to meet me.
I ask her if there’s anything on for me in my schedule today. The only schedule I’ve was a lunch appointment with a supplier. I asked her to arrange for my Marketing Manager to go on my behalf and send my apology. Also, I am not to be disturb.
Jake came into my office, carrying a A4 size envelope.
He pass me the phone and pre-paid SIM card. “Untraceable as per your request.”
Next, he passed me a stack of papers. “profile report of the 3 ladies. It will come in useful for whatever you are planning.” He gave me a wink.
Ace: You really read my mind on what i need. Tks bro. You are really the best.”
Jake look at me, “Aren’t you going to share with me your plan?”
Ace: “not now. Still some more fine tuning to the plan. I’ll share once it’s finalised.” (I lied. Truth is, there are things that I’ve planned to do which is better left untold.)
After Jake left, I called my PA to tell her that I’ll be leaving office for a meeting.
I packed up all the things that Jake passed to me into my brief case and left for my car.
Reaching home, I greeted Aunt May. I told her I’m tired and I’m going to take a rest.
Locked myself in my room. I took out the documents and as I’m about to read it, my phone ring. I was startled like a kid caught doing bad thing. (Which I’m really going to do.)
Taking a quick look at the caller I’d before answering, I notice that the caller is M.
M: hi love. What are you doing?
Ace: Nothing. I just reached home and was about to take a shower (I lied, again…)
M: hey, tomorrow I’m not working. U want to spend the night over at my house?
Tempting offer…..but then….
Ace: let me see how. I still got important things that I need to settle tomorrow. I let u know later.
M: oh….ok….(I detected a sign of disappointment in her voice….truth is, I’m really tempted to her offer)
Ace: babe, I’ll try to reschedule my things. I get back to you ASAP, ok?
M: ok. I’ll wait for your call. I still got some stuff to settle in office.
She hang up.
My mind was torn. I keep looking back and forth at the phone and at the stack of documents…..trying to decide which is more important to me…..

Truth is, I really missed M.
Since coming back from the states, I haven’t really spend much time with her. We have both been busy with our own schedules.
I took a last look at the stacks of documents on my table, sighed and told myself that all these will have to wait.
I texted M to let her know that I’ll pack and pick her up for dinner later this evening.
Picked up M that evening and went out to a cozy little place for a very good dinner. Right through the meal we kept a lively conversation going and I shared with M my pleasant experiences during the recent overseas trips. (Of course leaving out the parts where it is strictly staff-in-confidence).
We went back to her place and M asked me to wait in the sitting room while she made coffee.
M went to the kitchen and while making the coffee I came in apparently to help out. (Yeah, right. Help up indeed. Truth is I was feeling a bit horning and kinky).
Once or twice my hands brushed against M’s hands and she was playing along, pretending not to notice. (I can tell that she has caught on the game and decided to play along. That’s M.)
We went back to the sitting room to have the coffee and I came and sat close to her on the settee.
I started saying how nice she looked tonight and how much I missed her and so on……
I then caught hold of her hands and said “May I just kiss these lovely fingers to show my admiration at their beauty?”
M catches on that I’m trying to play the game “Seduce the girl”…..
M acted like she tried to pull back when I started kissing her fingers.
She stuttered “Ace, please, this is not right. You know my relationship with L.”
I moved closer and said I must kiss her at least once otherwise I will go mad."
Ignoring M’s protests, I pulled her to me put my lips on her and kissed her.
M tried to pull back but I caught her in a tight embrace and started to pry open her soft lips with my tongue.
Slowly I managed to open her lips and put my tongue inside her mouth. M’s heart started hammering and with an effort she managed to tear her mouth away protesting feebly.
