I did not call Christina immediately, I hesitated and I thought about a lot. I did not know what to expect, and it did not know what to say to her.
I took my cordless phone and dialed her number, I felt my heart beating faster as the dial tone rang.
Christina: Hello?
Me: You Paged?
There was an awkward silence for a brief moment, before I could hear Christina’s breath on the phone.
Christina: Are you free? I want to meet you.
Me: Why?
Christina: I think there are things we need to talk about.
Me: Ok, when you want to meet?
Christina: Can you meet me at Yio Chu Kang MRT 30mins later?
Me: ok.
I put down the phone, somehow I was not excited to meet Christina, I was somehow worried of what she was going to talk to me about.
I went to Yio Chu Kang and I was early by 10 mins, but Christina was early too. It wasn’t hard for me to recognise her as nothing much has changed in her appearance. She was not alone as Rachel and Sonia walked beside her, Sonia avoided me as I tried to make eye contact with her.
Christina: Lawrence, we need to talk.
Rachel was not at all happy as she looked at me, and Sonia just kept her head Low.
Me: Talk about?
Rachel: She blames me for your breaking up with her, so we are all here to sort things out.
Me: If there is anyone to blame, it is me. What is there to sort out?
I turned and I just wanted to walk away, but as I was walking away Christina called out to me.
Christina: Sonia told me everything, can we talk?

I did not stop walking, as I felt there was nothing more to talk about especially when Sonia had told her everything.
But Rachel made another statement that made me stop.

Hearing Felicia getting involved, was something I never wanted to happen. Especially for her to face Christina together with Rachel, I just cannot let her face them alone.

A familiar voice rang behind me, as I felt her hand on my shoulder.

Rachel walks over in a bid to give Felicia a slap in the face, however she was stopped by Christina.
Christina: I just want to talk, Rachel please don’t do this.
Felicia glares at Rachel: Why? talk lose to me, then want to fight ah?
I have not seen this side of Felicia for a Long time, and the last time I saw her behaving like this was when she was defending Pris.
Christina: Lawrence, are you really together with Felicia?
I was ready to admit it and when Rachel has treated Felicia in such a manner, I felt the need to protect her. I felt that it was my responsibility, to protect one of my “wives” but Felicia beat me to it.
Felicia: Yah, I like idiot, but I tell him I don’t need to be his Girlfriend, I just want him by my side.
Christina: Felicia, can you love yourself more? This is wrong

Felicia: If I say, I got think of leaving you and letting you go back to Christina. Will you be angry?
Me: Aiyoh why you want to do that?
Felicia: That time Christina leave you, you very sad mah, then I also know you like her a lot one.
Me: Felicia, now, I think I love the 3 of you more.
We walked on and reached AMK central, where we had our dinner. After which I sent Felicia home. But before I left her, I told her not to make stupid decisions like this without asking me, and she gave me a peck on my cheeks smiling at me.

Well I have admitted in a couple of occasions, I was 13 then all I wanted was Sec have having them as trophies, who will think I want to marry this girl at 13. Until now I still present them as trophies.
That night, it was hard not to think about the matter. The person that fill my mind was non other than Rachel (seriously I did not blame Sonia, to me she was just a blur Sotong), it was not because I like her, but instead it was the opposite. I was not going to let matters rest after what she did to Felicia, and I started thinking on how I could get back at her. That was how I fell asleep, thinking of ways to make Rachel pay.
I was woken up by my dad the next morning, and I accompanied my parents to the market. I rest at home after the marketing trip and my pager beep, It was Joanne and I called back.
Joanne: Lawrence, come over leh.
Me: Huh? For what.
Joanne: I am only back for one week, and you don’t come over?

Joanne put down the phone before I could answer, so no choice I made a trip down to Joanne’s house. I did not take a cab, as I had almost used up the money she left me. After a 45mins bus ride and 10mins walk, I finally arrived at Joanne’s house.
Joanne opened the gate for me after I pressed the doorbell, and as she lead me into the living room there was another familiar figure other than Joanne’s Father, Christina was there as well.
Joanne: Don’t say I never create chance for you, later you have a good talk with her.
Me: No need lah, we got meet yesterday.
Joanne hit me with her elbow: You settle her already ah.
I look at Joanne at the corner of my eye: I think more like she trying to settle me.
Joanne wanted to talk more, but her Father asked me to take a seat. He still gave me a stern look which made me uncomfortable, but soon he explained why he needed to meet me. Joanne’s Father asked if I was interested in making some pocket money, he was giving me $400 per month just to come to the house whenever there were works done to it. And the best part was I could arrange the Contractors to come when I was available.
I took up the offer and Joanne started briefing me on the Contractors, the most frequent one would be the cleaner that comes once every week. And other things like gardener, and pest control will be once a month.
It seemed simple, as Joanne has a folder with all the details which she passed to me. Joanne’s Father left for a dinner appointment shortly, leaving the 3 of us in the house.
Joanne: You have not told me, what happened between you and Christina yesterday.
