We leave walking briskly and I was nervous, Pris held me tightly wrapping her hand around my arms despite me carrying the 2 bags of photos. In the end to hopped into a cab and went to ah Kai’s home.
Pris seemed to be in shock and did not say anything, and Ah Kai offer her a glass of water. but she said she wanted to take a bath, ah Kai handed her a towel before she slowly retreated into the kitchen
I volunteered to look at the photos ( I was afraid there were still photos of Jasmine and I did not want Ah Kai to see them) But Ah Kai rebutted saying we should go through them together. But after much debate the task finally fell to Stephanie and me.
Stephanie and I looked through the photos most were of Stephanie but there are some of another girl that I did not know. I asked if Stephanie knew her, and she hesitated but still shook her head.
We spent almost an hour on the photos and Pris was still not out of the bathroom, I asked Stephanie to help check on her, Stephanie soon called out to Ah Kai asking him to help open the bathroom door. When Ah Kai went into the kitchen, I slip a bag of photos belong to the unknown girl into my bag.
I went into the kitchen and Ah Kai has unhook the door using a toothbrush. Stephanie went in and we heard Pris crying.
Pris: Stephanie, he was so scary……
Not only my heart sunk for Pris, I believe Jasmine went through this as well.
We waited for 20 mins before Stephanie held Pris out, Stephanie ask Ah Kai for a hair dryer and ah Kai delivered it to her. The next sight was heart warming as I saw Stephanie help Pris blow her hair and talking to her, I believe Stephanie shared her story with Pris.
Pris was somehow calmed down by Stephanie, as all was over I asked Pris is she wanted to head home. ( I never told her that I was planning to meet the girls for obvious reasons)
Pris shook her head: Yang, can keep me company?
For some reason I felt Pris was taking advantage of the situation and I did not like it.
Me: Pris, thank you for your help in this?
Pris: that is all? Yang, that is all!
Ah Kai and Stephanie saw our argument and come to us
Ah Kai: Yang, zou simi? (Why like that)
I shook my head: I only thank her for her help and she become like that.
Pris: Yang, why do you treat me like this?
I knew it seems to Pris that I had used her I after this I was ready to chuck her aside, but what can I do? I have the girls and I cannot possibly let them go because of Pris.
Ah Kai: Eh Yang, you already got 3 might as well take one more lah, if I can I also want.
Stephanie stared and Ah Kai
Me to Ah Kai: Eh Kai, Mai lai zou luan le ( Don’t cause trouble for me)
Pris: I don’t mind.
I shook my head: The girls won’t allow.
Pris: Yang, can you let me talk to them.
Me: If they say no, can you promise me forget about me and find a better guy.
Pris shook her head: I won’t give up.
At that time I felt like dying, how can I talk some sense into her?
Me: The girls won’t agree to it that I know
Seeingthat Pris can think about this now to me meant that she was no longer thinking about the earlier event with Andy.
Me: Kai open the gate for me.
Kai: Eh Yang…
Me: open the gate!!!
Kai unlocked the gate and I walked straight out of it, I did not hate Pris, but I knew I could not let her even have that thought that she had a chance with me.

For Pris, there was no way of friendliness from the girls and it was too much a risk to take reason being she was in the same school as Jasmine and Ann and she could contact Felicia. And she was definitely not the prettiest in the lot, she was just a childhood friend.
I walked to Ang Mo Kio MRT, paging the girls informing them that I was done with Andy’s issues. Before traveling back to Bishan via train, it was a moment I could relax and finally be sure that Jasmine was safe.
Along the journey i only received a page and it was till reaching the MRT station that I was able to check my voicemail.
The voicemail I received: Idiot, you take very long hor, We waiting for you leh. come GV find us.
I let out a smile, and I ran toward J8 taking to lift to the top level, and met the girls at GV, they accompanied me to the food court after knowing I have yet to have my lunch.
I told them what had happened, ( I think this time Ah Kai could have given them a better version of it) and they laughed, Felicia till now still questions me on why I needed to help Stephanie to such extend and I could only place ah Kai as a reason. I too told them about Pris and how traumatized she was, the girls did not respond and just looked at me.
The girls did not got to my home that day, I figured thit was late and it seem pointless for them to come over. I walk Jasmine and Ann to the station after my meal and I told Jasmine I would page her, and Felicia left after I waited for a bus with her at the terminal.
I made my way home and finally laid on my bed, it was only then I had the chance to take a good like at the photo of the other girl, She was only average looking, with very long hair down to the waist level and seem to be short and petite (about 1.53m 40kg type), she at most was a B cup and seem tanned.
I decuded to take nap and I woke up in the evening, my pager beeped and it was Jane, and to me it was strange, why would she page me so early?
