I went to the food court and I was made to face a black-faced Jasmine, she was somehow upset over something and did not speak to me.
I went to order my lunch and when returned to the seat, Jasmine got up and asked Ann to leave. Felicia looked up asking Jasmine why she was going off so soon, Jasmine did not answer and walked off with Ann telling us sorry chasing after her.
Not wanting to create a scene, I got up and walked briskly chasing after Jasmine and managed to get to her at the escalator.
Me: Jasmine, what’s the matter?
Jasmine shot a look at me: Ask Yourself.
I had no idea what she was talking about and I followed her, she kept walking away from me. I pulled her hand stopping Jasmine from walking any farther, Jasmine finally stops but I was not for me. In front of us was Pris, Stephanie and their friends, they walked pass us after Stephanie made a remark about us.
Stephanie: Jasmine please don’t do this in our uniform, it’s so disgraceful. But at least this one looks better than Andy.
I glared at Stephanie as she walks off laughing, Jasmine flung off my hand and chased after Stephanie giving her a slap on her face.
Jasmine: Shut Up Bitch!
Stephanie holding her cheek: Isn’t it the truth? Or you are going to say I lied again?
Soon I find myself looking on as the girl exchanged verbal assaults on each other, and I could only make out certain words that they used the rest would appear as ? to me. I can only blame my school teachers providing with limited vocabulary and idioms, Pris was pulling Stephanie and Ann was doing the same to Jasmine as I see Jasmine attempting to kick a leg or two at Stephanie.
Stephanie: I am not going to carry on this mockery with you.
Stephanie and her group walks away and I was surprised to see Ah Kai following behind them grining at me.
Jasmine did not talk as Ann helped her to the bench at the side of the J8, Feilicia finally found us and asked us where we went. I told Felicia about what that had just happened and Felicia started cursing and swearing, telling things she would have done to Stephanie if she was there.
I went over to Jasmine, trying to humour her, but the only response I got was this
Jasmine: leave me alone!
Ann told us to leave her and Jasmine and promise she would take care of her.
I walked Felicia to the terminal.
Felicia: Eh idiot want to go my home or not.
Me: I thought of accompanying u on Saturday but you want today also can.
Felicia: like that, we meet Saturday.
I laughed and told her I was joking and I was not in the mood today, Felicia boarded her bus and left. I went to check on Jasmine and they were still at the bench. I shook my head and walked towards my home but half way back my pager beeped.
I listen to the voicemail and it was Ann, she told me that Jasmine was feeling better and they were heading home. I replied immediately leaving Ann a voicemail telling her I need to speak to Jasmine and for them to come over to my place for a while.
Jasmine and Ann arrived shortly, and I told Ann I needed a private moment with Jasmine. I lead Jasmine whom was looking depressed to my room and closed the door.
Jasmine: why are you asking me to do this?
Jasmine: how can I not ask?
Jasmine: No! I am not going to trust you in this.
Jasmine: Lawrence, I am not going to do this unless you tell me why you want it
Jasmine: ok, I will do it.
These are the words that can be heard outside the room, as I move towards Jasmine handing her my writing pad, and she finally agreed to provide me with Stephanie’s likes or dislikes to the best of her knowledge. (She was her best friend after all and I plan to make Jasmine her nemesis)
Jasmine wrote a lot, from favorite food to actors, songs Stephanie liked and movies they used to watch together, but from the list I can only find 1 point which I think Ah Kai can use to his advantage. Stephanie was a Stephen Chow movie fan.

Me: You also not her how you know.
Jasmine: Lawrence, are you trying to get back at her for me.
I keep quiet and did not answer Jasmine.
Tears flow down her cheeks as she took the writing pad hitting me with it, she kept repeating: I don’t need you to do this! Why are you always doing all these!
She finally collapse on my bed and carried on crying.
I tried to calm her down and she pushed me away.
Jasmine: Look at the cuts on your arms, do you know it pains us when we see those.
I did not know what to say, I went to the living room asking Ann to go have a look at Jasmine.
It took 10 mins for the crying to subside and about 15mins later, Jasmine and Ann re-emerged from the room.
Jasmine: Tell me how you want to do it, if it is Stephanie you will need my help.
I told Jasmine my plan, it was a tactic I derived from Jane’s actions. ( of course I never told them about Jane) I wanted to make Stephanie have an habit to talk to Ah Kai and from there become a daily affair.
Jasmine: This might work, but your friend is my concern.
Me: what’s wrong with Ah Kai?
Jasmine: Ann will you date him?
Ann shook her head.
Jasmine: I won’t either, and we are talking about Stephanie here. She is not like Ann and me, we don’t really look at appearance but she does. ( knn tio Suan) And do you even have her number to do this?
I nodded and show Jasmine the number i wrote on a piece of paper.
Jasmine: Now how did you get that?
Me: From a friend……
Jasmine: wait you are still in contact with that troublemaker?
Me: heehee, just for this lah
I insisted in carrying on with the plan and I told Jasmine there was no harm trying she agreed and told me the topics that would help Kai break the Ice with Stephanie and it was game on.
I paged Ah Kai and he soon returned call, and it was a hilarious conversation. As I hear Jasmine briefing Ah Kai. Jasmine was speaking in Chinese and her English accent really was making sound as if she was talking in a alien language. After Jasmine finished Jasmine’s briefing, I told Kai to page her every night at 9pm without fail. I too told him to page me after the call to keep me updated on his progress, and we will tell him how to move on from there.
As we finished the call with Kai, Jasmine and Ann soon wanted to leave. I sent them to the station, that day Jasmine and Ann was holding my hands and looking at the cuts as we walked to the station. Jasmine was happy again as she pressed on the cuts asking me if it hurts. It never hurt… Not even the slightest pain was felt.

In the Evening, I paged Evon leaving her a voicemail asking if she wanted to meet up. She called me, and we arranged to meetup at 8pm under her block, I felt it was time for me to meetup Evon more as I felt that it was time for me to progress from the harmless teasing on the phone to something more concrete.
I met Evon at her void deck and I proposed to head towards the nearby park for a troll, since it was after dinner, Along the way I actually started teasing Evon, asking her for permission to hold her hand. (last time more decent girl you must ask permission for everything. P.S. I not saying Jasmine, Ann and Felicia all not decent just things happen differently.)
Me: Evon, Can I hold you hand? (actually I also ask for fun)
Evon: Don’t want lah. (standard answer all girls like that one)
Me: why don’t want? you don’t like me is it.
Evon: Too fast
I reach over and grab her hand: Fast meh? Like that hold already mah.
Evon: You always do this ah?
Me: No leh!! This one is primary school teacher teach one mah.
Evon: Where got?
Me: P1 my teacher ask me hold girl hand already.
Evon: You hor.
We walked into the park, and took a seat at a bench. Evon took her hand back shyly, and I was not going to let her get away with that. I placed my hand over her shoulder, and held her closer to me.
Evon: this one also teacher Teach?
Me: no this one, TV Teach.
We laugh and chatted under the moonlight, and I placed my arms around her waist. I tried kissing her but she was avoiding me telling me to behave. I knew that was her limit and I did not proceed farther.
After sending her home holding her waist, I was already thinking about tomorrow morning when I see her.
