Hi everyone. Sorry for the long delay as I was in London on a business trip. I will continue the story next week once I return to Singapore.
And so to let you all know, after my trip to batam, I asked Pris to be my girlfriend and she said yes. I will be moving on with my life together with Pris and hopefully all things worked out and we can settle down. Many thanks for everyone for your support.

Hi. Yes I was in the process. While penning my story down, I was actually at batam relaxing and actually reflecting if I should start a proper relationship with Pris. After much thinking and encouragement from friends and fellow SBF folks, I decided to ask Pris to be my girlfriend.

However, I sincerely dun think that Pris did that other than providing TS with a gd bonk and also listening ears and shoulders to lean on when needed. It certainly works to TS favour when he is the successor to his boss, and with a car and an apartment to his name… Which half decent lady wouldn’t wanna try their ’luck'?
Imagine if TS is a lowly office boy, living in a 3 bedroom hdb, taking bus and mrt to work. Will the PA of a management staff be consoling, supporting him with kind words?
Of Coz that doesn’t mean to say that Pris is no gd. This is human nature to want the best for ourselves especially in the competitive environment that we live in today. TBH, I myself may not even bother with a much lower position personnel family problen. I’m in middle management and I do lunch or go out for drinks with warehouse staffs. We do exchange stories of our personal life. However, will I be bothered to keep a special look out for them in the event that I’m single and available? I sincerely doubt so unless that particular guy is my cup of tea and we can really click. Then I may heck care bout status-quo. But, if the opposite happens, the guy who’s having issues happen to be my boss or any makes who’s in a position that senior to me.. I’ll be more likely to keep a look out and see if there’s any chance to develop further since we’re both single and available.
Money is the root of all evil. If a woman can stand by her man when he’s down and out of luck and money, and they pull thru it, then this woman is a sure keeper! Die die also can’t let go.
Pardon my long winded post.
I love happy endings too. Have been following Bro nurgle’s story with great interest. All the best Bro nurgle!
Well put. Money is the root of all evil in the sense of my ex wife for example. I will be honest. I lost almost a million in my savings when she took off and ran with the amount. In fact, that savings was actually meant for me to purchase a bigger house for us to stay.
I learn to forgive. But forgetting it is a long and painful process. Time can keep the money rolling in through hard work and investment. But no time can replace the lost and emptiness anyone have to go through what I had or in any other circumstances.
Thank you for your honest comment nettybaby. I do hope my trend will help all and also ensure everyone is having a great time reading.
Hi everyone. I’m currently at London airport waiting for my flight back to Singapore. A long backbreaking ride. I will continue with the story once I return safely to Singapore ground and not after meeting up with Pris. Thank you everyone and apologise for the lack of update last week.
Hi everyone. I’m back in Singapore after my trip to London. Shall we continue?
-——————————–
Pris: Nurgle…I love you….
Those 3 words. Those 3 infamous words that can change any men’s heart. To be swayed towards a woman heart. I seriously miss those sweet words. I long for those 3 words to form in my heart. But I was still fighting a battle with my emotions. The scars that was left by my ex wife.
Me: Pris…I…I…don’t….
With that she raise her head up from my chest, place a finger on my lips to silence me. The look at her soft eyes and her touch is telling me something.
Pris: Its ok Nurgle. I know. I know you are still recovering from what happen. I know that its not the right time. But I just want to let you know my feelings to you. I do love you. After been with you at work, at your house, in your bed, I have strong feelings for you.
Me: Yes…but I don’t want to hurt you should I choose not to follow my heart.
Pris: Its ok. Your heart needs healing. And I do hope that small amount of love I do and show to you, will win back your heart.
With those words, we kissed and she snuggle back into my chest. Not long, she fell asleep in my arms. But I was wide awake. The words she said sent me on a rollar coaster ride of emotional struggle and battle.
She loves me. But do I really love her? Is this what we are doing all about love or lust? I admit, I miss the moments of lust. But what I really miss is love and companionship. Do I dare to fall back to love again? How would I take it? Positively or negatively? Lots of questions kept coming but no answer. I was lost.
I gently placed Pris head on a pillow, got up of my bed and went out to the balcony. I took a deep breath and sighed. Should I start a new with Pris or should I just leave her out of my life? I need answers. I need suggestions.
I ain’t a religious person. But I kept a small shrine of my parents in my living room to remember the people that care for me when I was a baby. I took the photo of my lovely parents and out of the blue asked them.
Me: Hey mom and dad. I know you saw what have been happening. But I’m at a lost. I wish I know what to do. I wish you both were here to comfort and give me advice. If I should start with Pris, give me a sign. Anything. I miss you both.
I placed the photo frame back and decided to catch some sleep. I climb into bed and hug Pris from the back and soon I drifted off to bed.
Woke up the next day without Pris in bed. Wonder where could she be? I grabbed a towel and took a shower. A cold shower in the morning sure sent a joint down my spine as I was fully awake. It was a good feeling. Maybe Pris went home to spent time with her family? Maybe I should made breakfast.
I went to the kitchen after my shower and smell something good. I follow the scent of cooking and saw my kitchen in a major mess! There I saw Pris trying to cook breakfast.
Pris: Morning Nurgle! I’m making breakfast today for you. Why don’t you pour yourself some tea and wait at the balcony? I will join you shortly!
Without having second thoughts, I kissed her cheeks and grab my mug. Pour myself some tea and went to the balcony. Along the way, I grab the Kindle Pris bought for me, eager to explore my new found toy. While I was sitting there, I was exploring the Kindle. There I notice a book was already program into the Kindle. The title was “The Courage To Love Again” by Sheila Ellison. I looked to the sky and let out a smile and laugh.
Me: Oh mom and dad. You really know how to surprise me. I miss you both so much!
We had our breakfast in the balcony and we were discussing on what we were gonna do for the new year count down.
Pris: I have a tradition that I would always have a count down with my close sisters and a bunch of friends.
Me: Likewise. I have a close friend that is coming back from Australia tomorrow. We have been doing this count down for almost 15 years.
Pris: That’s good! And I was worried that you will be alone.
Me: Don’t worry. Even when I was with my ex wife, I still have my new year countdown with my buddy.
Pris: That’s good! You do need some “me” space sometimes. And aside from that, I have a request if you don’t mind.
Me: Sure. What’s on your mind?
Pris: Well…Chinese New Year would be round the corner. And I was thinking that if you could come over to my place. I would like to introduce you to my family.
Me: Eh!? But we ain’t even officially a couple!
Officially a couple? Why on earth did I say that? What was I thinking?
Pris: I know. But I would like to introduce you as my boss to them.
Me: But I’m not your boss now.
Pris: I know. But I don’t want them to worry that I have a lousy boss. So could you? Pretty please?
Me: Alright. I will be there.
Pris: That’s great! Now eat up! I will do the dishes and I have to go home. I was planning on meeting up with Sue this afternoon.
Me: Yes madam.
Things seems to be moving fast. Way too fast. Am I really ready for this? Its almost 2 years since my divorce. Am I really ready to love again? Just then, I told myself. I will made a choice. After reading this book that is in my Kindle. I will made a choice to be with Pris or to continue been single.
After the dishes was done, Pris left to her house. I on the other hand, got dress and head to the airport. The long awaited meeting with my buddy. My mate. My brother in arms. Waiting at the arrival, I was looking out for him. Lots of pretty ladies around the airport but I shook the thought off and continue looking out for my buddy. And there he was, my buddy, Slade.
Slade: Hey buddy! You came! Thanks for picking me up!
Me: Its good to see you too. How are you doing my friend?
Slade: I’ve been good! And you remember…
Without finishing, he moved aside and I saw a beautiful white woman and in her arms was a little baby no bigger than 6 months. I smile and we both embraced.
Me: Lisa! Oh my god! Its good to see you! Welcome to Singapore! Wait…is that…YOUR BABY!?
Lisa: Hi Nurgle! Yes! This is little Slade Jr!
Me: Oh man! Congrats to the both of you! This calls for a celebration! Are you guys hold up at any place?
Slade: We are thinking of a hotel in the city area.
Me: No way mate! You are going to stay over at my place! I insist!
Slade: No mate! We can’t! It ain’t nice!
Without taking no for an answer, I help to take Lisa lagguages and high tail it off to my car. A little history, Slade was an exchange student when I was in secondary school. We somehow clicked as we both share the same love for fantasy novels and roleplaying games. We kept in touch ever since his exchange problem. He was there for me when my parents passed away. He was there during my wedding. And he was there for me when I was going through a divorce.
Me: Buckle up! The ride home is a short one. Let me cook you both dinner later! How does Japanese style sound?
Slade & Lisa: Awesome.
Me: And milk for the little Junior! *Little Slade Jr smile when I said that. Babies are so cute when they smile.*
We got back to my place, I told them to sleep in my bedroom as I’m fine with sleeping in the living room. Its a good thing I change my bed sheets. Don’t want them to get the wrong idea. Although I was ready to share with Slade about what’s been happening. As they were settling down, I got busy. Ramen with soy soap. Fleshly cut salmon sasimi. Chawamushi. And cold sake to cool down from the hot weather.
We had our fill and Lisa decided to turn in early for the day with little Slade Jr. I took the bottle of sake and went to the balcony with Slade. We chatted what seems like a long time and I spill the beans about Pris to him.
Slade: Mate! I’m glad you found her! She sounds perfect for you! The words she said, goes to show how matured she is for her age!
Me: I know mate.
Slade: So what’s stopping you?
Me: My emotion. I don’t know if I’m ready yet.
Slade: I know mate. Do take your time and don’t despair! If you are alright, I will share this good news with Lisa.
Me: By all means Slade, go ahead.
Slade: So mate, did you smash her back out? Has she gave you a gobby? *Those are aussie slang for having sex and getting a blowjob*
Me: Keep this to yourself mate. Yes.
Slade: Oh you handsome lucky devil! And who started it? I bet its you…
Me: No. It was her.
Slade; No bloody way! You got yourself a pretty young less who wants to win your heart and get some action going. And you still don’t want to…
Me: I’m not ready.
Slade: Bah! Take your time mate. Don’t worry too much. Tonight we drink. And we will chill till the end of 2014!
Fast foward, it was the new year. 2015. Slade, Lisa and me had our count down party at my home due to little Slade Junior been able to travel much. It was great. Countdown with no one but my buddy and his wife. However, all good things must come to an end. With that, they are to return home to Australia. I helped load their laugguge into my car and drove them to the airport.
Just before they were about to depart, Lisa grab hold of my hand and pull me to a corner. Leaving Slade to settle little junior wet pumpers.
Lisa: I heard from Slade about everything. You know I’m very happy for you. And we both encourage you to move on with your life with Pris.
Me: I know. Thank you Lisa. You and Slade has always been great support for me.
Lisa: What are buddies for? Just remember one thing love…*She signal me to lean in to whisper something*
Lisa: Make sure you wear a condom if you plan on not having a kid. But if you want to go all out with her, just push it in deep. That’s how Slade did it.
Me: Lisa!! Slade told you!?
Lisa: Aye! His my husband after all! I always get an answer from him whenI smell something fishy. But don’t worry love. You are a good man! We both know you will do just fine with Pris.
With that, they enter the departure hall. It will be another long year till I meet them again. I wave goodbye from the glass panel. I was happy for them that they got a little kid. I really was. But what’s more important was the encouragement from both Slade and Lisa. They knew about our sexy time. But yet, they encourage me to start a fresh with Pris. Another sign. I stare blankly at the ceiling of the airport and sighed.
Me: Mom and dad. Your signs are getting more and more. Even my pals from far far away said the same thing. Thank you mom and dad. But I will let Pris know when I’m ready.
It was about 2 weeks till CNY. The day I promise to visit Pris’s family. I was getting nervous. But I didn’t put much thought into it as work was piling. New clients to meet. New deal to close. And lots of new problems. Ever since my assistant left, my paper work was piling again. I even have to pile all the documents on the floor of my office. The pile got higher till and more till what seems like a big office room, it became a maze that you have to go through just to get to my chair. I need help.
Just before I sent an email, Kelvin came into my office. From the looks of his face, he doesn’t seem please.
Me: Hi Kelvin. How can I help you?
Kelvin: Nurgle. We need to talk about Pris. You got a min?
Me: Sure. Grab a chair and don’t mind the maze.
Kelvin: Nurgle. Its already 4 months and Pris hasn’t hit target. For the first 2 months I’m able to close an eye about this seeing that she is pretty new. But its already forth month and there still isn’t any improvement.
Me: I see. Can I ask what steps have you taken so far to show her about her situation?
Kelvin: What steps?! You can’t hit means you can’t hit! End of story! Money don’t grow on trees you know? We need to see the numbers grow.
Me: I understand. Remember how boss always share about how to improve everyone before blaming them for poor performance? I was hoping that you could have show her what’s wrong and guide her as she wants to learn on sales management.
Kelvin: I ain’t got the time for this! I have clients to meet, deals to close, figures to produce!
Me: And you got time to come into my office and complain about the poor performance of Pris? The time you use here can be use to educate and show Pris the right way isn’t it?
Kelvin: No. I got no time for this. She isn’t meeting target. End of story.
Me: Ok. Fine. Let me talk to Pris about this since you do not want to guide and educate Pris the right way.
With that, he left my office with the blackest face I ever seen. Its like something crawled up into his ass and died in there. Not wanting to make the wrong move, I called my HR and explain the issue to her. She suggest that both of us have a talk with Pris to find out more. That’s where I called Pris to my office together with our HR manager, Lin.
Lin: Hi Pris. Have a seat please. I understand from Kelvin that you have not been hitting sales target for the past few months since you got transfered to sales department. Is there anything wrong you would like to share with me and Nurgle?
Pris: Yes. I think I’m not suited for sales. The way Kelvin does things is aggrasive sales pushing. He isn’t kind and nice to the clients and I felt that’s the wrong approach. I decided to be kinder and explain in detail with the client rather than push for a confirmation sale.
Me: I see no problem in your way. I too strongly believe in honesty. What keeps our long lasting client is when we are kind to them and listen to them. But correct me if I’m wrong, do you have difficulty with hitting the target set by Kelvin.
Pris: Yes Nurgle. And I feel so stress with that. I don’t feel happy been in sales department.
Lin: Should we inform Kelvin about this, Nurgle?
Me: No. Let him do his ways for now. I will have a personal chat with him one day. In the mean time, Lin, I am in need of an assistant ever since Athena left. Can I request that Pris be transfer over to me? As she has done documentation for me before. Along the way, I would like to teach her personally and improve her sales ethincs.
Lin: I see no problem with that if Pris is fine with that.
We both looked at her and we could see her eyes wide open.
Pris: I’m…I’m fine with that arrangement. Thank you Nurgle. Thank you Lin!
Me: Then that’s settled. From next week, you will move to Athena desk and help me first thing with some documentations. I will be meeting a client in the afternoon and you will follow me to learn the ropes.
Pris: Yes boss! Thank you boss!
Me: Please. Its Nurgle. The title boss is only resvered for the former boss. If he ever returns.
Lin: Don’t mind me Nurgle, but I would like to discuss something with you.
I signal Pris to excuse herself and close the door behind us.
Lin: Nurgle. I know this is a bad timing but here is my resignation letter.
Me: Omg Lin. Not you too. Is it because of my work style? Am I too pushy?
Lin: No nurgle. In fact, you are just as wonderful as Boss was. You both are the best among us here. The main reason why I’m leaving is because I’m having a relationship with someone in the office here.
Me: Oh. I see no problem with that.
Lin: But it ain’t nice and more over I’m in HR. I hold lots of important documents.
Me: I see. And may I as to enquire who are you in a relationship with?
Lin: Promise me you will not laugh…
Me: I promise.
Lin: Ace.
I wasn’t laughing. I dropped my jaws.
Me: Ace!? Of all the people in the office it has got to be Ace!? How long?!
Lin: Almost a month.
Me: Well, I cannot stop you from having an office relationship, neither can I stop you from leaving. You have my blessing, Lin. Please do come and see me the day before your last.
Lin: Thank you Nurgle. *With that, she took her leave*.
Lin: Nurgle, Ace was right. You are a good and understanding boss.
I can’t stop from showing my shocked. Ace finally wants to settle down with Lin?! The playboy?! I reached for the quick dial.
Me:Ace….you got lots of explaining for me dude.
Ace: Oh. So Lin told you? Free now? Teh and smoke break.
Me: I want mine extra sweet today.
I went down and met Ace. Took a stick from him awaiting for his explaination.
Me: So Mr Playboy…what happen?
Ace: I found love.
Me: No shit Sherlock!
Ace: Really bro. I really admire Lin for a long time. Its just that I never approach her before cause I scared she will know of my playboy nature.
Me: So who asked who first?
Ace: She asked me actually. One day she came up to me and we chatted awhile. Then I wanted to send her back home as we stayed in office till late.
Me: You boink her in the office?
Ace: No la! You think I that horny everytime?!
Me: I don’t know! You tell me Mr I go SBF dome 1, 2, 3, LSB and GL everyday!?
Ace: No la! Well, I sent her home and we started talking more. Then that’s where I knew I can click with her well. Then she all of a sudden ask me if I would like to be her BF. Of couse la! I like her for a longest time!
Me: I’m glad for you buddy. But you know she wants to tender because of that?
Ace: I’m aware of that. I actually told her that you don’t mind. But she still insist.
Me: Which means she is jobless now right?
Ace: Yeah lor! So now I worry for her!
Me: Hmmmm….I do you one good one brother.
With that I got my phone out and called a manager from my previous company whom I still keep in contact.
Manager: Well well Nurgle. You don’t always call me unless you need a favour. What can I help you with?
Me: Hey. I think my favour can help us both. You sitll looking for a HR manager?
Manager: Yeah la. 1 year no HR manager I always have to do payroll. Damn stress.
Me: Ok. My HR manager is resigning due to some circumstance that she is not able to continue working in my office. But she is open to work at other locations. Are you still interested?
Manager: I will take her! Please! Its so hard to find a HR staff nowadays!
Me: Great. I will arrange with her and you again. Thanks. *Hangs up the phone*
Ace: Bro! You shouldn’t have done that for us!
Me: Come on la. We are bros. I will help in whatever way I can.
Ace: Steady la you. Thank you boss.
With the final puff, we went back to office. I continue with my work. I was so engross with everything that when I look up and out of my window, it was dark. I look at my watch. 9PM! Damn! I didn’t know I was working till that late! I packed my bag and made my way out when I notice Pris moving her things over to her new desk.
Me: Pris! You ain’t going home!?
Pris: Hi Nurgle. No. I just finish my talk with Kelvin.
Me: How did it go?
Pris: Ain’t good. I’m not happy. He is so annoying and really stupid! How can he be a manager of the sales team!?
Me: Boss liked something about him. So I can’t argue with that. Tell you what, let me help you shift the items and place it at your new desk. And then let me send you home. Its already 9PM and its a frday.
Pris: Yeah sure. Thanks Nurgle.
