Oh, that one is one of the most high-end. I don’t have the 福气 to stay in such a place. I can see it coming up from my rented apartment at Wireless Road.

I quite like this apartment, the living room n bedrooms r huge as the size is abt 146sqm with 2 bedrooms. The location is good too. The only drawback for me is the highest storey I get to buy is 7th FL. Which the view is blocked by other neighbouring buildings. If I want the 15th FL, then I have to buy the 3+1 rooms, which is too huge n expensive for me to afford.

We don’t talk about jokers who stay here but still continuing hanging out at tourist areas lah… we talk about really trying to merge into the Thai community.
Sometimes i see u read posts blindly,i wonder if u had already blended very well into the thai community.I do not see my thai friends trying to cheat me or make me pay because i am a foreigner.I guess different people have different treatments.Perhaps u have the “kum lan” look??haha..I go out with my neighbours girls and guys,go look ard, bring me ard the vicinity,go cheong thai discos and welcome me to their outings.Only ur own thinking that people then to hang out in tourist area.Anyway where is considered tourist area??MBK??been months since i went there liao…so far away..not suitable for me lah.I sometimes onli go samrong or bang na..for locals onli.In fact, the neighbours knew i have crush for thai buddha amulets that they got for me the ones i wanted and presented that as a gift to me.

Yo Bro Junichi,
Yes you can buy a house and can put under your name provided your wife is a Thai and you must have 400,000baht in a Thai Bank(to prove your ability to pay the housing loan) and somer other conditions. Non-Thai is not allowed to own land that means House under your name but land not your name.

Wah, today the flame wars very intense, fight until come here
Don’t think it’s so easy to “integrate” with Thais. They always see you as foreigner. How do you feel about the FT that come to S’pore, especially ang moh FT? Why we call S’pore gals that go with ang moh FT “SPGs”? Dun you think the Thai feel same way about us, especially the Thai guys? What do you think the Thai guys feel when you come here and bonk their women and make more money than them, and their women prefer to go with you because you’re foreigner and make more money than them?
To be a foreigner respected by Thais, you must be very, very humble and respectful. Then they will say you “nisai dee”. Otherwise they call you “mun” (it) instead of “kao” (he). This not what only bar gers call their farang customers. It happens even in my workplace to disliked farang colleagues.
Look behind the smiles. Smiles in LOS can mean anything.
Hey dudes I went to
but couldnt find exact information concerning the application for a fiance visa via alien relative(thai future wife) for you to reside in BKK with her.
Most of the visa info provided there is more towards farangs wanting their thai ladies to go back to farangland with them… What I’m looking for is opposite…
Anyone here can tell me more about this?
I never heard of fiance visa. I don’t think the Thai authorities care if you’re a fiance or not. What do you mean by fiance anyway? Bf also can say they are fiance. You don’t get any special treatment until you are legally married.
You can only get an “O” visa as foreign husband supporting Thai wife if you are legally married to a Thai woman. You will need to show documentary evidence of your sources of income as certified by the S’pore embassy in Thailand. You can then get up to 1 year visa, which is extendable.
The amount of income you need to show changes all the time. The last time I checked, it was 20,000 Baht per month or 200,000 Baht per year in a Thai bank account. That’s why I recommended you to go read
to get the latest info. I don’t think it’s difficult to satisfy if you have a decent job in S’pore. But if you’re working in S’pore and don’t stay more than 1 month each time you come to LOS, why need a spouse visa? Just come in normally as a tourist.
The Thai authorities don’t want to let “loser” farangs come into LOS easily to pollute their country. There are already too many low-end farangs loitering around in LOS and doing visa runs to continue staying.
Lestat666, maybe if you explain why you need special visa we can help you better.
BTW, if you want to just come and stay in LOS without any job or income in in SG or LOS, and you are not legally married to a Thai, then you have to do “visa run”, i.e. go to a border checkpoint to exit LOS and then come in again so that you can stay another month. Usually, especially for S’porean, they don’t care how many times in a year you come into LOS on tourist visa. I used to go more than 20 times in a year.
