An Affair with an older married lady... and the aftermath...

    Chapter #631

After work on Friday, Jasmine asked if I wanted to head over for dinner with her, she wanted to try this other zhi char place at Gambas area that was recommended by Natasha. I was going to meet Natasha at night so I figured why not. I had intended to go home for dinner and change first but I guess it didn’t make much of a difference.

I sent her back home to change first as I sat in her living room to wait.

Alicia was home but was lazy to go out so she asked us to tapau anything back for her.

Jasmine changed quickly and we headed over to the zhichar place.

    J: We look so weird.

    Me: What do you mean?

J: I’m wearing shorts and t-shirt like I just came out of the house. You’re still wearing your work shirt and pants.

Me: Well I don’t have clothes to change into.

J: You still have some shorts and singlets in my cupboard you know.

    Me: Now you remind me.

J: What are your plans tonight? Meeting Nat?

Me: Yeah. I wish she didn’t tell you though.

    J: You feel bad?

    Me: A little.

    J: Don’t be. We’re friends. I understand.

    Me: That’s hardly the point.

She probably sensed my reluctance and changed the topic.

J: I feel like crabs. Do you want crabs?

    Me: Sure.

    J: Black pepper? Salted egg?

    Me: How about both?

    J: Great idea.

We ordered the two flavours of crab, sambal kangkong, hotplate tofu and rice. I somehow wished Alicia was here to help eat.

The food came rather quickly. The server looked a little surprised that we ordered that much food for 2 persons. But I guess it didn’t really matter as long as we were paying.

The food was good, and surprisingly we managed to finish everything before tapauing a fried rice for Alicia.

I sent her back after dinner and headed home to change before getting ready to meet Natasha.

Around 10pm, Natasha suddenly texted to say she suddenly wasn’t feeling well so she had to cancel. Frankly it came as a big relief to me. I told her to take care and that we would rearrange another day if she wanted.

I texted Shirlyn to let her know I’d pick her around 10am to go see bicycles. She asked if I wanted to have supper but I was super full from dinner so I declined.

I decided to sleep early since the weekend was likely going to be packed with activities.

Around 11pm, my dad knocked on the door.

D: Your colleague is here again.

I quickly put on a singlet.

Jasmine had decided to drop by again.

My dad had already let her in and she immediately came into my room.

    Me: Erm. What’s up?

J: Just wanted to see you.

Me: You saw me over dinner.

J: Yeah. I know. But I still wanted to see you.

Me: How did you know I was home?

J: Nat told me she cancelled. Where else would you be?

    Me: Good question.

    J: How’s your back?

    Me: Recovered?

    J: Sure?

Me: I think so. Stopped painkillers a long time ago.

J: That’s good. Do you need a massage?

    Me: Don’t think so.

J: I’m going to give you a massage anyway.

    Me: Errr… ok.

    J: Take it off.

I took my singlet and lay down on the bed. Jasmine immediately pounced on me, sitting on my ass while rubbing my shoulders. I naturally tensed up.

    J: Relax will you?

I tried to relax. She continued rubbing. Surprisingly, when she got to the lower back, I flinched.

J: Ah ha. See. It still hurts.

Me: I have no idea why.

    J: Just relax then.

    She massaged out the tension.

    J: All done.

I rolled over and got a shock. She was topless but wearing her bra.

    Me: Erm. What’s going on.

    J: Dirty massage.

    Me: Very funny.

J: I was just hot, you didn’t turn on the aircon.

    Me: Sorry.

I grabbed the remote and turned it on.

    J: You’re uncomfortable? I’m not even naked.

Me: Well… we’re alone in my room and we’re both topless.

J: And what are you going to do about it?

Me: I’m going to ask you to put your t-shirt back on.

J: You sure that’s what you want me to do?

Me: Well, what do you want to do then?

She put her t-shirt back on.

J: Just trying to see if you were going to break our agreement.

    Me: Why?

J: Remember I said I wanted someone who would control me sometimes?

    Me: Yes.

J: Well you’re doing a pretty good job.

    Me: Right.

J: I’m going to stay over ok?

    Me: You sure about that?

She removed her bra from under her t-shirt and tossed it aside.

    J: Yup.

She turned off the light and lay down next to me.

    J: Just hold me ok?

    Me: Ok.

We fell asleep in each other’s arms.

She awoke first the next morning. The sun wasn’t even up yet and I wanted to sleep a bit more but she had me let her out of the house. It was barely 5am.

J: So I’ll see you at the bike shop later?

    Me: You’re going too?

    J: Yeah. I don’t have a foldie.

    Me: Alicia has one.

J: And I want my own.

    Me: Oh.

J: Not sure if it fits into my car though. So I’ll need to put it in yours if I buy one. Help me bring it back home

Me: Right. Shouldn’t be an issue I think.

J: So I’ll see you later.

    Me: Ok.

I contemplated going back to bed but ended up tossing and turning instead. In the end, I went for a solo ride instead.

I got home in time for a quick breakfast, shower, before heading over to Shirlyn’s place to pick her up. She was dressed simply in shorts and a t-shirt.

We headed over to the bike shop that was somewhere near MacPherson.

On hindsight, I probably should have checked the website for opening hours. I assumed they opened at 11 so we reached around 1045. However, they only opened at 1130. Was kind of surprised that Jasmine didn’t ask me what time I was going there. I guess she already did her homework. We ended up going to the nearby HDB estate to look for a coffeeshop to get drinks.

Around 1130, received a text from Jasmine, she was already there and we weren’t.

We finished our drinks and headed over. Parking was horrible, perhaps we should have just hung around just now as by now, the lots inside the building were all taken and we had to park outside by the roadside and walk in.

As luck would have it, stocks were limited and Jasmine didn’t end up getting a bike. Neither did Shirlyn. I guess for the foreseeable future, she would be riding mine and I would ride Jasmine’s.

Anyway, we went nearby for lunch before I sent Shirlyn back.

We had arranged to cycle that night again, so I would pick her up and head over to Jasmine’s place.

I reached home around 2pm and was walking back from the car park when I spotted a familiar figure coming up to me.

    It was Alan.

    Chapter #633

I half considered walking in the opposite direction, but I was curious how he managed to find me. Not many people knew where I stayed.

He appeared to be alone anyway.

    A: We need to talk.

    Me: Sure. Where?

    A: Car park.

    Me: Ok.

We headed back to the car park and took the lift to the roof garden before looking for a place to sit. It didn’t look like he was concealing any weapons, especially not a samurai sword. Weapon or not, at least he was alone, and even if he was armed I guess I could probably still disarm him with my past training before someone got hurt. Depending on the weapon of course.

A: Before you say anything, just hear me out.

    Me: Speak.

A: I’ve done some things I’m not proud of.

    Me: Indeed.

A: Don’t be so smug, you’ve done things as well.

    Me: And?

I don’t know why I was being so antagonistic.

A: I don’t care if you slept with her before I came back. I’m just pissed that you didn’t stop when I was back. I’m pissed that you caused my family to break up.

    Me: Wow. What else?

A: Don’t push me. You don’t know what I’m capable of. I could kill you now and nobody would know.

Really. In broad daylight. But he didn’t seem drunk. Or on drugs. I decided to test him.

Me: And you don’t know what I’m capable of.

A: Are we really doing this now? Do you really want to suffer?

Me: Not really. But you’re wasting my time. Just say what you came to say.

    Alan sighed.

A: I’m sorry. I know it was over the second I admitted to her.

Me: You mean you would have kept her in the dark?

A: Yes. I still have to travel back and forth for business.

    Me: What the fuck.

A: I never expected her to do that to me. She was such a good and obedient wife.

Me: She probably never expected you to do that to her.

A: I got a drinking problem because of her.

    That hardly seemed accurate.

    Me: Get help then.

A: I know my marriage is over.

Me: Then stop making things difficult for her.

    A: You are the complication.

Me: So what? You’re going to remove the complication?

A: I thought if I got you out of the picture, maybe I could convince her to carry on.

Me: I think the second you hit her it was over for you.

    A: I don’t think so.

Me: Well, I’m here now. What do you want to do? You tried getting your friends involved. You failed. You texted her to threaten me. Now you’ve got me alone.

    A: Aren’t you afraid?

Me: Of what? You? Only cowards use violence to solve their issues. What’s the worst you can do?

A: I’m going to ask you nicely to leave her. Or else.

Me: I’m not even seeing her anymore.

A: I followed her. She came here twice. Don’t think you can bullshit with me.

Me: Didn’t think you were a stalker.

A: Are you going to leave her alone or not?

Me: She has a choice of who she wants to see.

A: Then you leave me no choice.

I wondered what he was going to do.

He took my hand as if in a handshake.

A: Please take care of her then. I couldn’t be a good husband. I don’t know if you will, but I think you treated her well enough to be willing to leave me.

I just stood there dumbfounded. How much alcohol did this guy have to drink to fuck up his brain so badly? His 180 degree change of attitude was surprising.

I pushed his hand away. Even though he was giving me his blessings, this was a weird way of showing it.

Me: She has a right to choose her happiness. I’ll not interfere with that.

A: Don’t give me that bullshit. She stayed over last night. I know. I was sitting in the car until morning. If you didn’t sleep with her what else could you have done?

I guess he really had nothing better to do. And I had nothing else to say to him.

A: The next court date is in June. I won’t contest the decision. Whatever happens I’ll go back to (country). At least I have a family that appreciates me there.

I don’t know why but it felt like he was blaming Jasmine for everything. I think it was best I don’t say anything funny this time.

Me: Ok. And don’t come around here anymore. If I see you here, I’ll call the police.

A: If I really wanted to kill you, I could have done it already. You’re too stupid and too trusting.

    Me: Whatever.

He left, ending the weird encounter. I thought it was best not to let Jasmine know about this. But at least I more or less had a fixed date as to when her issues might be settled.

    Chapter #635

I didn’t have anything to do so I took a nap before dinner. We arranged to meet around 8pm so I told Shirlyn I’d pick her around 730pm. She had plans for dinner with her family so I ate by myself.

I picked her up and headed over to Jasmine’s place.

She and Alicia were already ready and waiting for us.

J: Do you want to try a bigger bike today?

S: I’ve tried bigger bikes before. Didn’t really like them. Hard to control.

Again, the sexual innuendo was hard to miss.

J: Trust me, once you ride a road bike, you rarely want to go back to a foldie.

Me: Why do you want a foldie then?

J: Oh. It’s easier for short rides. Like maybe I wanna go for prata at Upper Thomson. I don’t have to use my road bike.

    Me: Right.

S: I’ll stick with Mark’s small bike. It’s really easier for me to handle.

I kind of suspect Alicia caught the innuendo as well as she was smirking.

Anyway, we went to Woodlands waterfront this time then back down to Ulu Sembawang and Yishun Dam, stopping at Rowers bay. It wasn’t a really long ride, but I could tell Shirlyn looked a little tired.

    Me: Should we stop here?

J: Oh. Alicia and I were intending to head to east coast.

S: That dark stretch was pretty scary just now.

Me: I think I’ll head back with Shirlyn?

J: Sure. You still have my keys right? Just put the bike in the balcony.

Me: Yeah. Still got the key.

J: Go on then. Will see you two at work on Monday.

    Me: Ok.

I rode back slowly to Jasmine’s place with Shirlyn and kept the bike, folding my own as well. Shirlyn went to use the bathroom while I smoked in the balcony.

S: So this is where all that sex happened.

    Me: Huh?

S: Your group sex with them and Darren.

    Me: Err…. Yeah?

    S: Interesting.

    Me: Why is it interesting?

S: Seems like something everyone should try once in their life.

Me: I thought you had a threesome before.

    S: Not really counted.

    Me: Well…

S: I know what you’re going to say.

    Me: What?

S: If I want you can arrange.

Me: No I wasn’t going to say that.

S: Seriously I know it’s a FB thing, but how many people actually don’t mind their FBs fucking someone else?

Me: I don’t know. Do you mind?

S: I guess I don’t if it’s just FB. Should I? If I did then it won’t be FB anymore right?

    Me: I guess so?

S: Oh well. This must be where Darren impressed everyone with his huge cock.

    Me: Yup.

S: Hard not to be impressed.

    Me: You weren’t impressed right?

S: Oh I was. But it’s not what I wanted.

    Me: Right.

S: It felt good la. It’s very intense. But it was over so quickly.

Me: So you don’t want to do it with him again?

S: Nope. He cums too fast. Hahaha.

    Me: Right.

    S: I’m happy with you.

    Me: I can tell.

    S: Wanna do it?

    Me: What? Here?

S: Why not? They aren’t coming home right?

Me: Not so nice. It’s not my house.

S: True. But can’t go to my place. How about yours?

Me: Well… my parents are still awake.

    S: How about… outdoors?

    Me: Well… I might know a place.

    S: Cool. Let’s go?

Me: We’re sticky and sweaty, you sure about this?

S: Can always shower when I get home la. You have wet wipes?

    Me: Yeah. In the car.

    S: Ok. Let’s do it.

We left Jasmine’s place and headed to Northshore. Luckily Natasha introduced that place to me. It seemed like a good option for now.

I managed to find the same car park and parked in a similar spot.

Me: So in the car or?

S: This is a new estate right? Let’s go up the blocks and do it at the staircase. I think got nice view.

Me: View for us to see, or for people to see us.

S: Who knows? I never did this before. Let’s go try.

    Me: Ok.

We went up to the 21st floor of a random block. Not sure why we chose 21st, but we didn’t want to go to the top floor.

We found a staircase that overlooked the sea.

    S: Fantastic.

She pulled down my shorts and swallowed me whole.

I looked around to see if anyone could see us. Probably not. And the houses on this level seemed unoccupied.

She blew me for awhile and I got hard. Guess the back strain didn’t affect my erections.

She bent over the ledge and pushed her ass out towards me, pulling her shorts to the side. I slid it in.

    S: Faster.

I pumped her hard. Perhaps the thrill of doing it outdoors was making me and her more aroused.

S: Cum inside. I want to feel it.

Me: How do you know I’m about to cum?

    S: Wild guess.

I pumped a few more strokes and unleashed the entire weeks load into her warm and wet hole.

S: Oh my god. We forgot to take the wet tissues.

    Me: Oh yeah.

    S: Damn.

I pulled out and she squatted down, sucking me clean, while letting as much of my cum spill out of her onto the floor.

S: You didn’t cum the whole week ah?

    Me: Nope.

    S: Wow.

Me: I was injured remember. And didn’t really try to see if my erections were affected.

S: Well it’s working fine. And that was fun.

    Me: Exciting.

S: We should do it more often.

Me: I really prefer it in a room. With proper facilities to wash up.

S: We can’t get a room all the time. Unless you want another staycation.

    Me: I don’t mind.

    S: Ok. Will plan something.

We hurried back to the car. Hopefully no one saw us. At least with Natasha it was late and anyone around the area was probably asleep.

We wiped ourselves a bit before I sent her home.

S: Hey. You know anyone with a big cock but lasts longer than 5 minutes?

    Me: What?

S: I would like a threesome with such a person and you.

    Me: Erm. I’ll try.

S: Just asking. No need to make it happen.

    Me: Ok.

She went into the house and I went home wondering if I should text EoS for recommendations, or if he was keen, I supposed I would ask him.

    Chapter #636

    Chapter #637

I didn’t do anything much on Sunday except go for a long solo ride in the afternoon to clear my head after the events of the week.

Alan alternating between threatening me and giving me his blessings was really messing with my mind. And the fact that he followed Jasmine to find out where I live was a little unnerving. She could have been meeting anyone, but somehow he took the chance, followed her, and discovered that it was me. He even waited in his car the entire night just to confirm it. Then again, it sort of meant that Jasmine wasn’t seeing anyone else like she said. I had no reason to doubt her.

Monday was normal, I had lunch with both Jasmine and Shirlyn. The two of them seemed to be getting closer.

Rebecca came to look for me after lunch to check on Kate’s progress. I didn’t know what to report, as other than the client meeting last week, she didn’t really have much to do besides paperwork.

    R: There is an issue.

    Me: What issue?

    R: I received a complaint about her.

    Me: From? And about what?

    R: I can’t tell you.

Me: Then what are you trying to tell me?

    R: Need to watch Kate.

Me: I think her work is fine?

    R: Some staff are uncomfortable.

Me: With what? She’s only been here a week.

    R: This is confidential.

Me: Then why does it seem like you want to tell me?

    R: Let’s go to Shirlyn’s office.

We headed over, and Rebecca shut the door. Shirlyn looked up.

    S: What’s going on?

R: Erm. I need to report an instance of harassment.

S: Ok. Someone reported to you? And you can’t handle it?

    R: I can’t report to myself.

S: Oh. How is Mark involved?

    She looked at me.

S: What did you do to Rebecca?

    I looked at her confused.

R: No. It’s not him. I wouldn’t have minded if it was him.

    Me: Funny.

    R: It’s Kate.

    S: What about her?

R: Er… she touched my arm again.

I swear I was rolling my eyes.

Me: And you felt the electricity?

R: Yes. And she asked what I was doing this weekend.

    Me: She’s being friendly?

    S: I think you’re overreacting.

    Me: I think so too.

    R: I don’t swing that way.

    Me: Then tell her?

    R: How?

    Me: How would we know?

S: I think as HR manager now you should be able to handle these things right?

R: I don’t know how. Now I feel bad for the things I did last time.

    S: Like what?

R: I didn’t handle these things well. Even made fun of Cheryl. Argued with Helen.

    Me: Time to learn then.

R: Can you talk to her? Please?

She sort of grabbed my forearm. I didn’t feel any electricity.

    Me: Erm.

    R: You’re her direct supervisor.

Me: What exactly am I supposed to say?

R: Find out what she wants? Whether she’s interested in me?

Me: I think it’s quite hilarious that for someone who is so used to getting her way around here, you’re suddenly helpless.

R: I know right. So weird.

S: Talk to her I guess. No harm right?

    Me: Fine.

I left it till later in the day, just slightly before it was time to knock off before I approached Kate.

    Me: Hey.

    K: Yes?

    Me: We need to talk.

K: Oh is it time for my appraisal already? Do I need to sleep with you to get confirmed?

    Me: Hilarious. But seriously.

K: Just kidding. But I still don’t understand how people get promoted so quickly here.

    Me: Work hard?

K: I think it’s more like work smart. The hours aren’t long. Nobody disturbs you on the weekend.

Me: Anyway we still need to talk.

K: Sure. Aren’t we talking now?

Me: We probably should go somewhere a little more private.

    K: Wow. You move fast.

    Me: What?

K: I was talking to Karen. She said you probably slept with all the girls in the company.

Me: Not that nonsense again. What if I told you I’m gay?

K: Oh! Fantastic! What are your views on pink dot?

    Me: I’m not gay.

K: I can tell. Just trolling.

Me: Ok seriously. Let’s just go to the meeting room.

    K: Alright.

We headed to the meeting room and I turned on the aircon. Kate shut the door. We sat down next to each other.

    K: So what’s it about?

    I sighed.

Me: I’ve received feedback that you might have been overly friendly with some of the staff.

    K: Oh?

Me: Yeah. So I need to highlight the importance of maintaining a professional relationship with your colleagues.

    K: I don’t get it.

Me: Someone said you touched her arm and she felt uncomfortable.

    K: What? Hahahaha. That’s funny.

    Me: Erm.

K: Wait wait. Who was it? Cheryl? Karen? Jasmine? Joan? Rebecca? Shirlyn?

Me: You’ve just named every female here in alphabetical order.

K: And I’ve touched all their arms.

    Me: Right.

    K: Stick out your arm.

    Me: Why?

    K: Just do it.

    I did.

    K: Tell me a joke.

Me: I don’t know any good ones.

    K: Whatever.

She fake laughed and sort of grabbed my forearm. I nearly jumped. I felt the electricity when her fingers were brushed against me.

    Me: Oh. Ok.

    K: Yeah. I’m electrifying.

It was just static. Probably due to the carpeted floors.

K: So yeah. I tend to do that when someone tells me something funny.

    Me: You zap them?

K: No. I mean I may just grab them or something.

Me: Well, maybe some of them are uncomfortable with that?

K: Oh well. It’s just their arms. Imagine elsewhere.

    Me: I’d rather not.

    K: I’m not kidding.

She suddenly reached out and ran her finger down the side of my neck. I felt the jolt and the tingle and somehow felt my dick stirring.

    Me: What the fuck?

K: Ah ha! Your neck is your erogenous zone.

    Me: That’s not cool.

K: I’m not interested in you. I’m just demonstrating.

Me: Ok fine. But maybe don’t touch them so much.

K: Sure. By the way, do I need to declare any relationships?

    Me: No?

    K: I mean with colleagues.

Me: Erm. Still no? Whatever you do outside of work is none of our business.

    K: Great!

Me: I hope you understood what I was trying to tell you.

    K: Yeah yeah. Sort of.

    Me: Good. I think.

K: And I hope you don’t regret rejecting Cheryl and Joan.

    Me: Say what.

    She leaned over.

K: Cheryl is really tight and wet.

    Me: Inappropriate.

K: Who knows what you want then. I had drinks with them. They kept talking about you and Ken.

    Me: Right.

K: Girls will talk about guys. I’m sure you know that. I’m sure you talk to guys about girls too.

Me: I don’t talk to Ken much.

K: Did you know he’s been sleeping with Cheryl? And Joan?

    Me: I heard.

K: Yeah. This company is weird.

Me: I don’t judge. And anyway, just watch yourself yeah.

K: Sure. Thanks for the advice boss.

Me: Right. There’s no upcoming meetings for the week so just follow-up on any emails or call requests that come in.

    K: Alright.

I reported to Shirlyn on my talk with Kate and we both sort of laughed about it. Rebecca was in a call so I didn’t get to update her. But the electricity she felt was real.

I was going to grab my own dinner after work as Shirlyn had other plans, and Jasmine had already left. I bumped into Rebecca in the lift.

R: Did you speak to her?

    Me: Yup.

    R: And?

Me: It’s a friendly touch la.

    R: Ya right.

    Me: She touched me too.

    R: Then?

    Me: It’s just static electricity.

    R: No it’s not. I felt aroused.

    Me: Huh?

    R: Really…

Me: It’s really static. I got zapped.

    R: Hold out your arm.

    Me: Why?

R: I show you what she did.

    Me: Err…

    But I did so anyway.

Rebecca grabbed my forearm near the elbow then slowly ran her fingers up towards my wrist.

Me: Wah. That wasn’t what she said she did.

    R: Now you see?

Me: Erm. It’s still pretty friendly I think?

She ran them up the back of my hand then between my index and middle fingers.

    Me: Oh.

    R: Now you understand?

    Me: Erm.

R: She’s demonstrating how she will finger me.

Me: I’m not sure that’s what she was trying to do.

    R: No meh?

Me: Maybe her fingers ended up there when you pulled your hand away?

    R: No lor.

She rubbed the flesh between my fingers.

    R: She did that too.

Me: Hahahahaha. Ok. Good luck then.

R: Er xin. I’m not les.

    Me: I don’t judge. Hahaha.

R: Please talk to her again can?

Me: Why are you so afraid of her?

    R: Just uncomfortable la.

Me: Ok fine. I’ll talk to her again tomorrow.

    R: Thanks!

Thankfully the lift reached the ground floor and we both exited.

    R: KNN!

    Me: What!

R: My FB last minute say he not coming to pick me.

    Me: Call your husband?

    R: Busy.

Me: Have fun on the MRT then.

    R: Send me back leh.

Me: My car can’t move till 7pm.

R: Oh ya. Then why did you leave the office?

    Me: To find food?

    R: Sure or not?

Me: Why else would I leave the office then?

R: Got so many hotels nearby. Who knows.

Me: Why would I go to a hotel?

R: Find your fuck buddy lor.

    Me: Don’t have any.

    R: Ya right.

    Me: Serious.

R: Can I join you for dinner then?

    Me: Why?

R: Because I have nothing to do now?

    Me: Up to you.

I headed to the roadside and jaywalked across to get to the hawker centre. Rebecca really followed.

I ordered Thai food and she did the same.

After dinner, she actually followed me back to the office.

R: Can you send me back?

Me: Errrr. Sure. Where exactly do you stay?

    R: Springside.

Me: Ok. Direct me when we’re nearer.

    R: You know where ah?

Me: Near the army camp there?

    R: Ya there.

Now I know what Shirlyn meant when she said Rebecca stayed nearby.

We waited till 7 and I drove her home, engaging in casual conversation. She was still trying to get me to get Kate off her back, as well as trying to find out who I’d been sleeping with in the office. I didn’t say much as usual.

She stayed in a corner semi-D. The house was dark. Guess her husband wasn’t home.

R: Thanks for dropping me off.

    Me: No problem.

I drove home after that, at least she knew her boundaries.

    Chapter #639

Tuesday to Thursday were normal days spent clearing emails and attending to queries. I was really doing less HR things now that Karen had sort of taken over most of it.

I spoke to Kate again regarding Rebecca but in not really explicit details, but I think she got the message.

Thursday evening I was stoning in the office waiting for 7pm again when Rebecca texted me. She was WFH that day but was coming back to grab some stuff and she actually asked if I wanted to grab a drink. I had no plans anyway, Shirlyn had left the office on time and Jasmine had left the office early for a vendor meeting.

I was thinking how to reject her in case she got the wrong idea about me. Sending her back on Monday was me being nice. If I went out with her for drinks, it might really give her the wrong idea.

I was about to reply when she suddenly showed up in front of me. As usual, she was wearing almost nothing, just a tank top and nearly non-existent shorts. If Shirlyn was still in the office she probably would have said something.

    R: So how?

Me: I don’t want to drink.

    R: Why not?

    Me: Just don’t want to.

    R: Ok. How about dinner?

    Me: I’ve eaten already.

It was a lie, but I really didn’t want to hang out with Rebecca.

R: Want to do anything then?

Me: What exactly do you want?

R: Nothing. I just want to know if you spoke to Kate or not.

    Me: I did.

    R: Good. Thank you.

    Me: You’re welcome.

R: Can you drop me home? I got quite a few things to carry.

Me: Isn’t your FB picking you?

R: Nah. We aren’t seeing each other anymore.

    Me: Oh?

R: Yeah. He found a new one. I’m looking for a new FB now.

    Me: Well, good luck then.

    R: I know you’re not interested.

    Me: Nope.

R: Weirdo. So can send me back or not?

    Me: Sure.

Anyway, I did drop her off again on my way home. She kept complaining about her lack of sex life, even though it was barely 3 days since her FB cancelled on her. Perhaps I should just introduce Darren to her.

Friday was another uneventful day. I had a pretty bad migraine the whole day and even skipped lunch to take a nap, but it didn’t work. Luckily Natasha didn’t ask to meet. I probably would not be able to satisfy her in my current state. Shirlyn noticed I didn’t look too well and asked if I wanted to leave earlier but I declined.

I went straight home after work and was practically in bed till the next morning, ignoring all the texts that came through my phone.

Saturday morning I was still feeling pretty unwell, with body aches and the pounding migraine so I took some more pills after a quick breakfast before taking my temperature. I got a shock when the reading was 38.5 degrees. I quickly took an ART but it was negative.

With such a high fever, it was no wonder I was feeling unwell.

I slept through lunch time and took my temperature again when I woke up. 38.9. My temperature was still rising.

I took another ART but it was negative as well. What in the world was wrong with me?

I tried to eat some instant noodles so that I could take more Panadol, but I could barely stomach the food. In the end, I just took the Panadol on a relatively empty stomach and went to sleep.
