The hotel that I am in now is not too far off from Eatons.
The last time I stayed in HK, I was prepare to be married. Things have change so very much.
About 4 years ago……
During our pre wedding honey moon trip in Hong Kong, we made plans to go visit 大屿山，HK Disney Land. But we did not went to either. The weather was so hot. We ended up doing some shopping and hunt for good food. We had early breakfast, shopped and walked around. Took a cab back to the hotel when we are tired, have a rest and out we go hunting for delicious food for lunch. We liked spicy food, but not that many available here. But the company was great.
We will shop and walk some more, rest, walk and shop some more, before searching for dinner. After dinner we venture further more. Our luggage s were filled up quickly. Every night we will go out for supper before turning in.
While in the room, we will sip on the red wine we bought from Changi Airport Duty free. We did not drink that much, cause most of the time, we will be dead tired from the walking.
We will soak ourself in the bath tub before turning in. The 4 days we were there, that was pretty much the routine. We have our share of sex but I will not go into that.
We visited 女人街，赤柱，波兰街，庙街，兰桂坊 …. Surprisingly we were quite thrifty. Items we bought were all value for monies yet nice pieces.
The last day, after a last minute shopping after breakfast, we bought quite a lot of snacks from one of the famous chain, I forgot the name of the shop. Already the extra bag I bought is already packed.
There was sense I’d sadness as we will be separated for a few weeks. While laying on the bed. My business associate rang me up, while laying on the bed half heatedly talking to the caller, I hugged May tightly.

May will take the next cab to the coach station for a later shuttle service back to her home town. Did I mention that we bought 2 prepaid local SIM card the first day we arrived. We used up all the remaining credit on the card, even before I reach the airport.
May had already reached the bus terminal before I arrived at the airport.
We continue to message with Singapore number. Just before I cleared custom, her shuttle bus departs for Guang Zhou.
We continue SMSing, till I board the plane back to Singapore. It was one of the longest flight, I could not wait to talk to May again.
When the plane arrived in Singapore, I could not wait to switch on the N95. There was a few message from May asking if I have arrived as she has already reached home. I rang her house number to inform my arrival.
Finally checked into hotel.

May: the Aircon isn’t working on the bus, the icing on the moon cake melted, I just stuff them into the freezer, how’s your trip.

After like 5 minutes, her mom call her.

I caught a Taxi and went home. I went to HK with half a bag. Now I return with 2.5 bags.
1st Bag: some of my original belongings and tons of May’s new clothing purchased in HK (she bought 2 very sexy lingerie last night.)
2nd bag: tip bits, tip bits, tip bits and tip bits + goodies
0.5 bags (hand carry): some more tip bits + some wii controller attachment and my chargers. (Initially plan to do some exercise with the Wii, but never got to it, today the Wii attachment is still sitting in the drawer, untouched)
Finally reached home. Started unpacking the bags. Put away May’s clothing in 1 of my drawer. Distributed the tip bits into 3 uneven portions.
The lion shares goes to my mom, for her distributions to our friends and relatives.
The other 2 portions goes to May’s aunt and my office colleagues.
If I was to return to Office after holiday in HK and with no “goodies” in my hands, I will be tortured by them. Bunch of pigs. (Hope none of them realize I am talking about them) Laugh Out Loud
I will drop off May’s aunt portion tomorrow morning.
By the time I drop my soiled clothing at the washing pail, my stomach is protesting. I took the car out and went to the closest hawker centre. Just than I realize I need to give something to the 2Js. I reminded myself to steel some from our home portions.
It was nearly 9 when I reached home and grab a small portion for the 2Js. May has has not return the SMS, she must still be out. I send her a SMS asking if she is still having dinner. She replied shortly saying it was a boring dinner and her mom is still at it with her client.
We exchange some SMS and I headed for shower. I lay on my bed watching the TV program while waiting for May’s SMS. I felt asleep. It was a tiring few days in Hong Kong. Lots of walking and lots of sweat. It was darn Hot in HK.
I was awaken by my phone ringing. At a glance, it was 2230. The caller is Jason.
Me: hey dude
J: Wahhaaaaaa, Casanova back from honey moon
Me: where got Casanova.
J: want to grab a drink outside. Got something to tell you.
Me: what now? It’s nearly 2300.
J: Chee Bye lah, last time never hear you complain. Now got girl friend, become good boy Liao Har?
Me: no lah. Tired and working tomorrow.
J: come lah, meet at our joint in 30 mins.
He hung up, before I can react.
Boh pian, have to drag myself out of the bed, change to casual T-shirt and Jeans. Drove to the pub with half my eyes open.

Things does not always go full circle
The chapter has closed on May and Myself, it took me quite sometime to walk out of that shadow.
I thought I will not love again, after she gone missing suddenly.
I searched for her almost everywhere we have been to.
But she just choose to disappear. Her mother and aunt repeatedly told me to let her cool down, and give her some time.
Did I do anything wrong to her? I have been a good boy after our relationship become serious.
Life is a mystery.
After almost 1 year, I gave up all hope.

Sorry for all that has been following the story, I decided not to continue the story. At first, I thought it will be better talking, but at a point, I realise it doesn’t.
But, I finally found the real love of my life, we have been together for the last 4 years. Fight we do, but it is all part of a relationship.
Not really a closure, but my apologies to all reader.
P/S was cleaning my mail box and realize that the story was left unfinished, so this be the final chapter to the story
