So while shopping, we chatted about life back then when she was still in S’pore more than 10 yrs back. I also shared with her what I’m doing now and how’s life in S’pore.

In Meizhou, it’s a not so “tourist friendly” place. Mainly the town of Hakka. I was there on a biz trip regarding biz opportunity and stuff for the company. So that night, I checked into a hotel, right in front of a river.
Opp the river, is a stretch of pubs/bars/KTV. As I don’t have much time, I’m not interested in those places. But there are shops about 5-10mins walk from the hotel.

I was staying in a hotel, next to a bank of china office in Kaiping. The hotel was rated international 5-stars and it seems quite a distance away from shops.
My 1st impression is that the night’s gonna be boring as only a pavement along the river is in front of the hotel.
As I finished my meeting in BOC at about 6pm, I decided to go back to my room to clear some work and also rest while I ordered room service for dinner. I had no options but to order as eateries were 10-15mins walk and the roads isn’t brightly lit up.
The taxi also don’t seems it exist in the small town at night. So I was bored during dinner and I flipped through the hotel directory. I came across the word “massage”.
I read the services offered and found it reasonable so I called and asked for price. The person said the receptionist said if I’m alone I can try the “full package” which cost around RMB$450.
I can get to choose the girls and have fire-ice service. So I went down, selected a girl but it was their rest time, 7.30pm-8pm. So I sat and waited for 30mins.

Next destination.. S.Korea (Jeju)
I was in S.Korea for a few days for biz related matters earlier this year. Spent a night in Seoul and 3 nights in Jeju. 1 night in Seoul is to meet clients only. Anyway, I was having communication problem in Korea.

I went to Vietnam, needing to have a meeting and want the company to pen down a contract with my company I’m working for. So when I reached Viet, someone had arranged to pick me up and send me to hotel.

We reach, went to the coffee house and ordered our food. While waiting for our food, she said she needs to tell me smth as her boss is not around. She said, “boss this time wants me to let you sign the deal if not he going to sack me. I show you the e-mail on my iPhone. I need this work, my parents all old and I’m the only daughter. You sign, tonight to tomorrow I be in your room for free. No need to pay me $ and do what you want.”
