China Visa. Very easy to apply if you have a degree onwards. Just ask your company to write a letter then put a company stamp (Must be the emperor seal type and also red color)

Chapter 8 (Staying in Singapore)
a) Mon
Well, I landed in Singapore and had 1-2 days rest before I report for work.
VP: Hey, Wong! How’s life in China?
Me: Well, horrible mess out there, I need to restructure the top level soon else we are doom. They way they treat the workers are absolutely ridiculous and totally no human rights.
VP: Take it easy! That’s China
Me: Boss, the previous chinese guy screwed everything up there. He insulted people who perform poorly in front of the whole company and also make the working condition so horrible. Now I need to restructure 1/2 the senior management as they are crap!
VP: Haha! I know you are the right man for this job but dont get too carried away. China is a fun place. Moreover, you know I hire Joyce specially for you.
Me: Joyce? For me?
VP: She’s gorgeous isn’t she? Dont get me wrong. Wong, you are a smart and strong leader and have good integrity but you know nuts about China. China is a dangerous place especially you dont know what you are doing. Being capable doesnt mean anything if you are dealing with Chinese. Joyce is extremely familiar with labour, tax law and the way Chinese do business. She will look after you.
Me: Oh! Ok, I will talk to her when I am back.
I decided not to call Ping despite I am dying to because I feel it is a test of mental strength now and the first one who call will be the one that miss the other more.
I walked into my office and close the door. Taking a piece of paper, I drafted out what I want to do. I need to hire a left hand man to help me and also another guy to head the research team.
Usually when I hire management staff, I look at the following attributes: -
I attended a few meeting and call it a day
b) Tue
Everything is normal until Ping call
Ping: Morning Wong! I didnt hear from you so I thought how is things going?
Me: Boring. Meeting meeting and more meeting till fri
Ping: Dear, I miss you. Can you come back faster?
Me: I want to but I cant. I have to be around for all these meeting else I will not bear to leave you. (Sweet talk again)
Ping: Hehe! I am so happy. Can I call you as and when I want?
Me: Of course, I will definitely be there no matter how busy you are. (Sweet talk again)
We talk for another 10 mins before we ended our conversation. I feel I did so well and everythnig progress according to my plan.
c) Thur
This day is extremely horrible for me as I screw up everything! My mobile phone battery is flat so I left my phone in my office to charge. I left to attend a management meeting which lasted for more than 2 hours.
When I return to my office, I saw 3 miss call from Ping and an SMS
Ping’s sms: It is annoying. I miss you and call you 3 times also dont want to answer my call.
I immediately call and sweet talk her and say I am in a meeting and my phone is flat.
In the afternoon, I had a presentation and I put my mobile on silent. I hate to be disrupted in a presentation and I never answer my call. After presentation, I took a look at my phone and saw 2 missed call from Ping..
I ring her up immediately and no one answer until I call the 3rd time.
Ping: What do you want!!!! Why did you call me?
Me: I return your call. Miss me is it? (Starting to sweet talk to her)
Ping: I hate you! I ask you whether I can call you anytime and you say “Yes”. I call you 5 times and you never even pick up a single call! I wont call you in future!! She just hang up
I feel extremely upset because I screw up my show! Ah………………!!!!!! What the heck did I do? Will my plan backfire? I wanted to fly over to explain to her tomorrow but I simply cant leave.
d) Fri
At 11am, I call Ping again.
Me: Ping, sorry…Dont be angry
Ping: I am not angry! (Still sounds angry). Let’s talk when you return. I got to go. When you come, you call me because I wont call you because you will never pick up your call.
Me: Thinking (Knn, suan me again)
Shit! She is still upset but I still manage to salvage the situation a bit because she ask me to call her when I arrive.
. I call my PA to book the 1st flight out to China on monday morning
I spend my Sat and Sun with my wife and be a good boy.
At last! Mon came after a long long wait!

Chapter 9: Flying back to China
I woke up at 5am and get ready to leave house. I drop Ping an sms saying “Dear, when you wake up, I will be up in the sky and by the time you have lunch, I would be in China. See you later.”
I walked to the DFS shop and get a bottle of Dior perfume for Ping. I also got 1 cute soft toy for her as I think all women no matter young or old will like cute stuff.
I got an sms from Ping saying “I cant sleep yesterday because I am very excited”.
Bingo. My chance boosted by another 10%. With my Dior perfume and my toy, I think I should be close to 80%. I must not score an own goal again.
Flight to China is boring as usual but I got my Ipad and also my Bose noise cancelling headphone so I can keep myself well entertained. The senior flight stewardess is a lau chio who shows ample cleavage when she bends down and serve my food. I nearly had a nosebleed….
At last my flight landed! I sms Ping to say I will be at her shop to meet her in 1 hours time. Joyce and Xiao Li are at the airport to meet me.
Xiao Li: Boss, office or hotel?
Me: Li Ge (Usually I address an older person as Bro despite he is only my driver), hotel. I got some urgent stuff to settle. You guys can go off once you drop me.

Me: Wow! Kana fly aeroplane. I came out of the shop very disappointed
Suddenly my handphone rings. It’s Ping!!
Me: Hello Ping. Where are you?
Ping: Meeting another lover. Haha! Sorry, I dont have time today
Me: Wow! The sky seems to be crashing on me. I stay silent for 5 secs.
Ping: Look across the street!
I looked across the street and saw Ping.
Ping: Haha! Serve you right for not answering my call. Punish you.
She walk across the road and hold my hand and led me into her shop. We went to the same room (The one before I left for Singapore).
Before I can do anything, Ping give me a long hug….
Ping: I miss you so much. I swear never to call you but I still call you.
Bingo, I know she miss me a lot.
Ping: I need to run an errand and then also go to the bank. Be a good boy, later I go over to your hotel.
Me: Huh! Hotel!

I went back to the hotel and had my dinner.
At about 8pm, Ping call.
Ping: Wong, come down and pick me. I cant go up as I dont have an access card
Me: Oh ya, I forgot that the security at the hotel is very tight
I pick Ping up to my room. When she steps into my room, she immediately rest on my bed.
Ping: Wow! Your room so cosy…Your company pay so much for your accommodation. You can pay 50% cheaper if you rent a place outside
Me: Dont want. Who is going to make breakfast for me and also tidy up my room?
Ping: If you have your own place, I will do everything for you.
Me: Well, I dont have plans for that yet. I still prefer hotel as it is more cosy
Ping signal to me to go over and hug her.
Me: So how, miss me or not?

My experience: Chinese Renminbi is meant for Chinese. Foreigners very difficult to make. I have seen MNC close down their branches in Shanghai after a few years. Back in Europe/ US they may be a billion dollar company. Come to China every year bleed a few million. Who can take it?
That is why I feel lucky that my wife is there with me. At least no chance for me to get close with any girls. Else I think I sure kena KC deep deep also.
