Wouldn’t it be odd if that particular patient wasn’t yours to start with? Besides, there are other patients in recovery, what if any of them wakes up?
So if it happens to be a ‘female patients day’, the team of you will take turns to get an eye sore from all the nudity isn’t it?
Doesn’t it feel the same after some time?

Of course I believe you, why would I want to know more from somebody that I don’t believe in?
Maybe it’s just the way I asked? My apologies if I sounded rude but I’m just trying to piece it altogether that’s why I asked.
Especially the part where patients are in recovery. I really don’t quite get how do you guys ’enjoy’ the beauty.

Probably a lot has changed but being a nurse is really tough job, not everybody can be one, loads of respect.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. However, most of the sick people that require medical care are elderly folks, don’t think you get a young patient frequently isn’t it?

Yes it is and an aging population makes it worse.

when I got shit from those patients I could bear with it because they’re sick and needed much attention lah! Then after a while they either went back home or died lor! But everyday day in day out getting shit from all those seniors and superiors is worse than shit itself lah!
That sounds like reality, most of the time you guys get old folks right?
What happens if somebody died in hospital? What’s the process like?

Why is there a need to bed sponge the dead, unless it’s in bad shape? Doesn’t freezing do the job? I’m pretty surprise this process is done by a student nurse at times, doesn’t he or she gets freaked out?
Thanks for the explanation, it’s really heart warming to hear what nurses do for the dead.
