That’s exactly it. I did at dtap for private but it wasn’t the finger prick test but rather blood drawn from vein. Went last Friday morning. Till now no news. The clinic said my sample was sent to the lab last Friday afternoon and Lilley haven’t been tested until after weekends. It’s already Tuesday and I haven’t heard anything from them

I think slight flu. Was very mild. Had difficulty breathing while running and getting tired easily or winded down. But then again doctors told me symptoms don’t mean anything and that sometimes some people just don’t get symptoms but are infected.

I’m just lying down in bed thinking all the worst things that can happen. If I indeed hiv my life is truly over. No call or text from my doctor to let me know of my outcome. Just screams positive and waiting for confirmation western blood before they call me. Fuck my life man.

I would have let everyone down. My fiancée, my marriage, my house (bto ready in Jan), my family and hers, and most importantly my self image. I would be so devastated with the news and probably just refuse to live any longer. This is if it turns out to be positive. My life is literally flashing past me as I left the hospital building yesterday. I remember all the small details of growing up as a kid, to secondary, to army day, to my uni and how I met my fiancée. It’s a lot to take in at the moment and I’m feeling very very down

If worse come to worse , you don’t have to break the bad News to anyone to save yourself and her if you do all things correctly and right.

For a start You can BS around it and there’s so many excuses to use not wanting to engage sex with her .

In the army we are all used to learn how to keng . use your wits .

Secondly with the advance medication available, you don’t really need to be very worried if you follow all the sop .

A simple ask Gemini on Google A.I return the following .

For most people taking HIV medication (antiretroviral therapy or ART) as prescribed can lead to an undetectable viral load within one to six months .

Here’s a breakdown of what that means and why it’s important:

    * Undetectable Viral Load: This means the amount of HIV in your blood is so low that standard lab tests cannot detect it. The specific threshold for “undetectable” can vary slightly between tests, but it generally means fewer than 20 to 50 copies of HIV per milliliter of blood.

    * Benefits of Undetectable:

    * Improved Health: It’s the best thing people with HIV can do to stay healthy and live a long, full life.

    * Preventing Transmission: When someone with HIV has an undetectable viral load, they cannot sexually transmit HIV to others. This is often referred to as “Undetectable = Untransmittable” or U=U.

    * Factors that can influence the time to undetectable:

    * Initial Viral Load: If your viral load was very high when you started treatment, it might take a bit longer to become undetectable.

    * Type of Medication: Some newer HIV medications, particularly those including an integrase inhibitor, can reduce viral load faster.

    * Adherence: Taking your medication exactly as prescribed, without missing doses, is crucial for achieving and maintaining an undetectable viral load.

    * Durably Undetectable: A person is considered to have a “durably undetectable” HIV viral load if their viral load remains undetectable for at least six months after their first undetectable test result. This is important for the U=U message to apply.

    * Ongoing Treatment: Even with an undetectable viral load, HIV is still present in the body in small reservoirs. It’s essential to continue taking HIV medication as prescribed to keep the viral load suppressed and prevent it from rebounding.

Regular viral load testing (typically every 3-4 months) is recommended to confirm and monitor your viral load.

If you’re lucky to tio HIV status, go take your medicine, once become undetectable, not only you will not pass the virus around, you can also become a daddy. What’s more lagi shiok is , from there onwards you can go bonk raw with any FL with a piece of mind without worrying of infected by hiv Full stop .

Idk if this is supposed to make me feel better. But no phone call since last Friday tests can be a bit reassuring cause if really have, they won’t wait to test over the weekends and would have just done it asap and confirmed it and called me by now

Undetectable viral load is your protector. That’s the level for all HIV patients need to strive for .

No need to tell or let her or anyone else know . This is your secret and you bring it with you to the grave.

Take it easy bro , relax, wait for the official results first then think and plan your moves .

You’re already safe Regardless of what the final results is .

There are medical condition more scary than HIV virus in today’s world , heart attack, stroke , sudden death and so on ..

But based on what I wrote about going to Phuket and having protected vaginal sex and chiong in geylang for other 2 instances, do you think I would be positive or negative? Idk why the result takes so long. I’m thinking about just letting my fiancée know. It may destroy her and us but it’s better for her so she doesn’t have to live a life with lies or secrecy from me anymore. I’m done. Whatever the result is today or tomorrow, I will not chiong anymore and will try to settle the administratives like medicines (PEP or ART if positive). I just praying that if I’m lucky and no hiv, i won’t ever do this and will focus more on my fiancée. So far till now no call from them. i tried to find info and use chatgpt. They said if I haven’t received an urgent call to come down to the clinic its considered a good sign alr and considering it’s Singapore, they usually let you know immediately especially in a hospital setting rather than tell me pending confirmation or what not.

    Chapter #30

    Update**

Since I buey tahan, I just decided to make phone call with the clinic and the staff told me they cannot divulge my result over the phone and that I will only know the results by the end of the month. But either way, the results are out and they said they will only schedule me to see the doctor at the end of the month follow up which is on my 2nd appointment date to draw my blood and provide the remainder of the PEP appointment. If the results are out and they never tell me to stop PEP now and come to the clinic immediately to take ART and instead tell me to wait for the 2nd appointment does it mean I’m hiv negative?

Cause this staff also one kind, I ask if you say end of month to see doctor and I positive then need change medication how? She just said doctor plan scheduled for you to come by end of the month and refuses to tell me my results over the phone.

Now I’m even more confused. Is it positive or negative?? So I ask her to ask the doc who saw me yesterday to call me cause I dying to know and she say will try relay the message to him but not guaranteed if he will respond or how fast he will respond.

So the question is, if they got my results, and aren’t telling to stop PEP and go for ART and instead maintain the schedule for the 2nd appointment means what??
